Will be great to use in the RV
I bought this so that I can do small batches of laundry while we're traveling in the RV. I'd usually use the laundry facilities in whatever RV park we stay in but due to COVID 19, I really don't want to do that. Also, sometimes I just need to do a light load. This thing works great to get clothes clean. I just need to figure out a good way to wring out the water before I can hang the clothes up. I thought of using the 2 bucket system and drilling holes in one. We'll see. I also like that when it's disassembled, it doesn't take up much room at all!

A great product, for about a month.
Years ago, I made something like this out of wood, using a 2x2 for a pole, and a few boards with holes drilled in them as the plunger, with a few 1x2s at a 45 degree angle between the pole and plunger. I needed to wash clothes, and I used what I had. Wherever it is, it is probably still in one piece, as it may have been as effective employed as a close quarters combat weapon, as it was a clothes washing tool.This product, which seemed to be a much nicer version of what I had in mind back then, worked great, until I started getting used to it and began washing my clothes with gusto.After using it for about a month (less than a dozen times) the end of the threaded pole snapped. A shame it was too, for I had just begun to like the handle, which I had originally planned to replace with a standard broomstick.Alas, the threads on the standard broomstick do not match those of the original plunger pole. But, before I go further, I found it necessary to retighten the original pole about every ten plunges, while keeping the end of the devise submerged, by rotating the handle clockwise about half a turn.The design is pretty good, so far as the form is concerned, but the practical execution leaves much to be desired. Where it a great deal heftier, I would enthusiastically recommend it. As it is though, I can only recommend it for use by females, or children, who lack the strength to break plastic.

I like it - despite a few issues.
Have had it for a week now, and I find the wand to be very effective. I would prefer for the plunge head to have a smaller diameter, but I knew that the size was going to be large when I bought it. Neither of the threaded ends fits into the y-shaped handle, so that part is not really useful. But overall, I still recommend this wand.

Love it!!
I use it for my baby's cloth diapers...Works best in a bucket..rinse 2 to 3 times...scrub stains out before use.

Easy to use, easy and fast to assemble, easy to take anywhere, does not take a lot pf space, but best of all, it does the job!!!

it broke
At first I thought this was a great tool to clean rags and rugs outdoors, It worked great,the problem is that it broke at the base. Too bad I can't give it a good review because I was happy with it up until it brokethe handle should be more sturdy, it broke where the handle met the plastic base

Great for a backup way to wash clothes
This hand washer seems to put water and soap through the clothes well. I'm not sure I'd want to do all my laundry like this but it would definitely work in a pinch! Amazed at how dirty the water was after washing...

Utterly useless, breaks too easily
What a waste of money. It's actually a very good product in theory, washes really well and is easy to use. The first two times we used it we were so happy. But then the third time, the head broke off even though we were only washing a few pairs of socks and were using it carefully and correctly. Completely snapped off, then you see it's just a weak plastic joint and it was bound to happen. No way to repair it, straight in the bin. I DO NOT recommend this product. Very disappointed.
