This shelves are well made, and absolutely BEAUTIFUL but really really REALLY difficult to install. I had a friend who has a degree in engineering come help after my botched attempt and he struggled too (which soothes my ego but also confirmed these are tricky). The trouble is just how unforgiving the shelves are if your screws move even a millimeter from your measured markings, which is hard to avoid since there are anchors to install before screws even. I suggest measuring and remeasuring and adjusting with every single anchor or screw (otherwise you risk the shelf not being able to slide onto the t-shaped poles correctly or at all).

This is one of the more expensive options, but worth every penny. The back of these shelves are etched out to allow for the hardware to be completely concealed. It comes with a sort of foam tape that helps the brackets stay in place when you position the shelf. You then pull off the shelf and secure the brackets to the wall, then slide back on the shelf. Obviously I am not an expert on this, and yet i was able to mount this shelf on my wall perfectly the first try. Oh yeah, the wood is beautiful. I would strongly recommend any of the shelves from this company. Note: I am only using one of the two shelves I received so far.

Reviewed customer ratings prior to purchasing. Was looking forward to receiving the floating shelves based on customer reviews. When received, one of the shelves had 2 huge “knots”. One on the top and one on the bottom of shelf. Shelves did not come close to matching the color chart. I ordered the color “cloud”. The shelves don’t even look they have been colored...they look “unfinished”. The knots look like a product was applied to them. Looks terrible. Very disappointed with them. Returning.

We finally got these shelves hung up last night. Knowing that they are stained white, I wanted them to match my daughter's other furniture so we spray painted them white. The stained white color was ok but with the wood color showing through somewhat they just didn't look finished to me. They were easy to paint. These are HEAVY shelves and it's a good think they come with substantial brackets to hang them. Now that they are up they look great and because of the hanging system I'm not worried that they will fall or not be able to hold my daughter's books and knick-knacks. I would purchase again in different stain to match in other rooms. Seem so far to be worth the high cost.

Just want to give some feedback on the shelves we ordered.We have them installed and they look great. I am very happy with he quality and look of the shelves.It is what we were looking for, I initially thought they were kind of expensive, but after looking around at others, for the quality, they were very cost effective.I was also concerned about the amount/ weight the shelves would hold, but after putting the pictures, and other items on them for display they are very sturdy.I believe this is a great product. And was happy to purchase a product Made in the USA. That is something I always look for anyways. We would definitely purchase your product again in the future.Thank you.

I was really impressed. Great craftmanship. Instructions were clear, and the color was a great match to my existing wood end tables! I'll update my review with pictures of the shelves in action at my office as soon as I can.

First off, I am absolutely in LOVE with the wood itself. The quality of the wood is fantastic and the 'bourbon' stain is warm and surprisingly versatile in terms of matching colors.My installation experience was a bit atypical, as I saw these as the perfect shelves for a "floating bar," so I deviated for a higher weight capacity. That being said, I was able to take the hardware to store and easily find suitable cabinet screws and toggle bolts. I was very impressed though with the installation approach (i.e. using the sticky applicator on the metal to mark each hole evenly) and the provided directions with pictures; not only was I able to get each shelf level, I was able to get them level side by side with each other as well!Overall, I couldn't be happier. My initial hesitation was the price point, but in reality this was worth every penny. I appreciate the opportunity to buy a really quality product from an American company.

Love my shelves! They were not hard to put up and the result was just what I was after. The grain of the wood is very pretty. I put them in my powder room so they aren't holding anything heavy. Not sure how they would hold up to heavier books and such, but for light weight decor pieces it works fine.
