This 12-piece set of 18 oz drinking glasses is a good value for the price. The glasses are medium-thick and weighted on the bottom; they look and feel substantial. They are about 6.5 inches tall and have a big capacity without appearing overly large. They are narrower at the top and rounded at the bottom in a classic and modern looking shape. I was pleased that they arrived carefully placed in cut out foam. The clarity of the glass used to make these is acceptable, but not great. Every glass has a slight cloudy tinge as if it were old or used a lot already. Even after washing in the dishwasher with the jet stuff they still don't look crystal clear. This is be a decent, inexpensive set of glasses and perfect for setting up a household. They are good glasses for daily use in my home, but I would not use them for company.
