AKI Diorama Effects - Dark Earth Terrain 250ml

I used this for basing my Warhammer 40k models and I was very, very impressed by the drying time, the sturdiness/stability of the material once it was dry, and the color retention and flexibility. I was initially worried it would look too matter and monotone, but with light brushing on the high points (see image) you can easily create lighter tips and deeper colored valleys in the basing goop. It was pretty easy to spread as well; I used a popsicle stick that i whittled down into a miniature spade of sorts. Nothing flakes off, nothing chips, and it's strong enough once set to hold the tiny tufts of grass and other fiddly bits (shell casings made of plastic, small rocks and shale, etc) without the need for additional glue. A bit pricier than competitors, but worth it and definitely show model worthy.

Excellent for making mud effects for miniatures! Great base color, all I need is a bit of dry brush over top to really bring it together.

The product is exactly what I wanted, however, the careless shipping in an Amazon pouch resulted in a cracked jar that leaked all over the inside of the pouch, coated both containers in product, waisted some of the product and caused some of the crack jar product to dry up. Happy with the product that I can use, but very disappointed in preparation and delivery.

Product arrived with the lid on crooked. Seal had also been pealed off. Clearly the product had leaked a it was caked around the threads. Material inside was well over an inch below the to of the lid. Seems like a used item. Smells like sewer which could just be normal, but I'm throwing away since I can't rule out sewage. This is probably a seller review more than anything

Great product, arrived quickly but was placed in an improper container and was received damaged. Would’ve been five stars had it not burst in the packaging.
