I bought this to replace an old wand I bought in college which was a long time ago. It heats up fast and gets very warm, it is easy to use, and I think you can curl hair fast with it. The curls are small because of the barrel size so if you are looking for a larger curl definitely get a bigger size. My hair is about mid-back length and could use a larger curl.

My daughter uses this every week. Much easier than a classic curling iron. She has very long hair, down to her waist and loves the curl it gives.The heat protector glove is a huge win.
