I bought mine in Sept 2022 and HAVE NOT taken it off since. I’ve worn it in the shower, with other necklaces, and to teach preschoolers that love to play with it. It’s held up SO WELL. It only came apart today (probably because of my kids!). The text is laser engraved and really visible. The photo is still beautiful. It hasn’t faded, gotten wet, smudged, or decreased in quality at all. The brass is definitely a little tarnished, but after a year and a half of daily wear, that’s not surprising. It’s also not allergenic like most cheap jewelry. It’s a beautiful way to keep my mama close to my heart. You can even see what mine looks like as of now.You’d be hard pressed to find a better piece of jewelry, especially at $20.
