Let me say, I love the GoPro Session. SOOO much easier to use than the original GoPro. I mean, when you're doing something adventurous, who wants to fiddle with settings and such. The only drawback to the Session has been the casing. It would be great to have a full-plastic case allowing me to use it while snorkeling deeper. That's where the FitStill comes in! This is a great case, that is fully waterproof, records great video (with audio too), and gets the job done. Honestly, the only thing I would change is to add an option for a red filter to be attached to the front (for under water shots). Other than that, I love it!

I finally had a chance to take this down on a dive to 134' deep on a wreck in Lake Michigan. It worked flawlessly and I appreciate the positive lock on the housing to ensure the door stays closed. In the past I've had a housing from another manufacturer open and flood the camera on a salt water dive. The housing I had before this (from another manufacturer) had a cheaper latch and it started to break apart and then would randomly release. This housing seems to be of much better quality and the positive lock feature makes me feel more confident my GoPro will be safe.

Easy to scratch so put a glass protective on it. Used for 6 dives of 50 - 90 ft and worked great. No leaks or fogging. Used about 15 times snorkling and no issues. A bit big for a ladies wrist, but fine for me. Like the locking swivel. Only negative was the non stainless screw. Rusted first day. Replaced with another standard screw and all is great. Take care not to break the lock. This was so easy to use and took great videos. Much better and easier than mask or chest strap. Best part is it is really hands free. Also, I have no idea how but sound was very good even at 80 feet down.

This is the nicest GoPro Hero 4 Session housing I have found. I do not use it under water but rather for skiing. After reading may reviews about GoPro OEM, and after market, holders breaking or otherwise coming apart and losing the GoPro, I decided to go with this one as the GoPro is completely encapsulated and latch design will not pop open while skiing/falling. The GoPro fits perfectly and the controls work will while in the housing. So far so good.

This is a DIVE case. It worked perfectly down to 70 feet. I was amazed at my videos. Enough of the sound comes through so you know they are underwater videos. The people that are giving this product bad reviews because they are using as protection on bikes are wrong. Or the person that wrote they used it for protection from splashes but disappointed that the audio was slightly muted, this is not what it is built for. This is a dive case that worked perfectly for what it is designed for. Taking it diving again and trust the case.

I didn't realize when I bought this that my Hero 5 Session is already waterproof. At least, sufficient for snorkeling. But this case adds a layer of protection, and the plastic is clear and doesn't seem to create artifacts or warp the view. I will say that you need to be very aware when you go from shooting underwater to above water-- or after a splash of water on the housing-- to keep your front lens and housing clean. I came home and noticed that a lot of my footage had significant parts of scenes blocked by water droplets. Many of the scenes were of my babies first swim. I was disappointed that water droplets essentially covered the entire view of his smiling and giggling face. This isn't the fault of the case, it's just the nature of water. One water droplet can cause a huge blind-spot or blurry spot in your final footage (enough to cover a human head). Just a word of friendly advice: Keep an eye on the front of the housing and keep it clear.

Great case - kept the water out at my maximum depth of 37 ft, and buttons worked fine! Comes with anti-fog sticks that fit inside the case with the gopro. I wish the CamKix light filters could be mounted onto this case. Instead, they have to clip onto the original gopro frame case. A future product/design thought for FitStill? For now, I'll probably epoxy the filter holder to this waterproof case.
