Excellent condensing microphone, which is perfect for our needs. Performs as described (full specs can be found in the listing), and full instructions are included.Primarily purchased for my Son to use for his YouTube videos - up until now he has been using a lapel microphone, but wanted to upgrade. Very easy to set up and operate (even for a technophobe like me!), and my Son is very happy with its performance. The sound output is clear, and effectively reduces background noise.Perfectly compatible with our Windows enabled PC. Good buy for the price, and no hesitation in recommending. Many thanks.

This deserves more stars in my opinion it came packaged well and is realy good quality the sound is excellent realy clear it looks a lot more expensive than it is it's good you can hold it or set it up on the tripods. I have no problems with highly recommending this microphone

This little microphone (little, because it's not full sized!) is great if you want to start vlogging or recording your voice, or simply to use with skype and other audio/video calls services. It comes with a range of accessories that aim to improve your user experience.The microphone has a 3.5 mm jack connector, so it won't work on your phone or on a recent model of laptop without the splitter provided. You have to connect the microphone jack to the red female connector, and plug that in on your device, if the latest is missing a dedicated microphone input.The microphone and accessories don't feel flimsy at all and are easy to assemble, and although I was surprised that it is not a full sized microphone (it's quite small and looks like a kid's toy), I was impressed by the sound quality. The background noise on both my Macbook Pro and Zoom H1 (professional handy recorder) is minimal, almost non existent, while on my phone the quality it's not good at all ( but it might be my phone). The overall sound is clear with a bit of compression if you're standing too close to it (the gain it's quite high so you have to stay at least 15cm away from the phone if you speak normally). You can adjust the gain (microphone input volume) in your recording software.Overall, great product for the price paid, definitely will use for personal projects, but because of the size I won't use it for professional interviews.
