Harder than expected for a gel saddle

I am not a light dude. Just getting back into cycling, and my old saddle was creating numbness in my region, if you know what I mean ;)I have been riding this saddle for a couple months now, and it is comfortable, causes no numbness, and I can ride without pain.Highly recommend

I am 66 and my old saddle was killing my derriere. My local bike shop measured my sit bones and figured out my old seat was too narrow. That set me on a quest. I tried three other seats, all of which were wider in the back. Two of these I was allowed to ride for a week. The other I tried on a trainer. They were all fit me better and were an improvement. But the best, also by Selle Italia, was $205. I checked on Amazon, looking for a better price and that is when I found this seat. I researched it carefully and read all of the reviews. Then decided to take a chance and order it. Best decision I have made in a long time. I rode it on a few training rides and then did a 104 mile Obliteride ride on it yesterday. It is by far the best saddle I have ever ridden on. You can't do a century without getting sore but it was like riding 30-40 miles on my old seat. I am a happy camper 😁.

This saddle works well for me after trying several other Selle products, I found this one to be the right one for me. None of the others were bad, but the Selle Man is just right. The width, cushioning and length are the main criteria where this saddle works. I do want to shout out to Amazon Prime as the return policy made the comparisons easy. I am 6ft 195 pounds and ride a Trek Dual Sport 4 on a mix of gravel and roads. I ride about 80 miles on average per week here in Washington. Saddle is still comfortable on longer rides of about 50 miles. My usual fitness ride is about 18 miles

I used to ride a high end road bike. 150+ miles a week. I just got back into casual riding a touring bike. Its heavy and slow. I have always had numbness issues at around (2 hours), 40+ miles with the old bike. I bought a similar Selle Italia seat and completely helped, the problem was solved. Now a days problem occurring numbness, so I upgraded to their version for touring bike. Again numbness solved. BUTT, pun intended. The seat doesn't seem to fit my butt. Im constantly moving backwards, to try to get comfortable.The quality and design is 5 stars. Personal fit made it 4 stars for me. I still highly recommend their seats.

Had a Selle Garda sportourer saddle previously that was plusher but my sit bones were on fire as soon as start to bike. This seat on the other hand is godsend! After a 10 mile bike ride, the saddle feels very comfortable, no chaffing, hole in the middle to help with your perenium and much lighter than my previous saddle. Even though the seat looks less padded, it feels way more comfortable with the gel cushion towards the rear that feels just right with my sit bones (mine measured 150mm). Definitely buy this saddle if you have wider sit bones (145mm-155mm). Your derrière and crown jewels will thank you!

I’ve tried a series of saddles but I could never find the perfect one. That’s until I tried Selle Italia. If you’re concerned about the weight of your saddle and not the comfort, then I suggest that you look for something else. This saddle doesn’t weight a ton, but it’s not “carbon light”. However, if you spend a lot of time in the saddle and you want to be comfortable, then I suggest you look no further.

this saddle is about as comfortable as it gets for me. I have had numerous issues in the past and this saddle performs very well. I went ahead and bought one for my back up bike as well. Very good service from the seller.

Para mi fue un milagro porque era ya mi última oportunidad de poder seguir en bici, suele andar muchos km al año y tenia u grave problema con los isquiones, mira que probé sillines ( más de 5) y no había manera esas bolas no me desaparecían aún iba a peor , decidí probar este sillín por un comentario de otro ciclista y la verdad se me hizo la luz , puede ocurrir que a otras personas no le vaya bien como a mi me ocurría con otros sillones pero ya digo personalmente para mi fue un milagro
