Heavy Duty tow bar for under $80! Great product and built solid.
I b ought this tow bar to tow a 5,000 pound Mercedes Benz e350 up to Oregon this summer. It's just under 1,000 miles and I feel good knowing this is a quality made product.Before I ordered it I made sure that it is ok to tow the mercedes like this. Some cars I hear can get transmission damage from being pulled behind another vehicle. Something to do with the ring & pinion gear wearing incorrectly. Those type of vehicles need to be put on a flatbed tgrailer or remove the driveshaft. Check with the dealer before you tow any vehicle to avoid damaging it. Drive safely and good luck!

Best bar for the money, and then some
I pulled a large truck with this tow bar, 8500pds heavy. Not an issue, except over 50 mph things unfold quickly. Well made bar and sturdy. Prepare for a few hours to install it ........ it's not a U-haul strap-on! Be aware of your speed while using!

Worked good.
Easy to hook up. Was able to tow a panel truck 100 miles with no issue. You may need to fabricate a tow bar to connect to.

Extremely well built
I had a tow bar built like this one, I thought. No way. The one I had, had the bolts constantly coming loose. The tongue would be flopping around by the time I reach every destination. Fortunately, it was demolished in a small incident caused by it co.ing loose. This one impressed me right out of the box. The paint job is overboard heavy and chip resistant almost. The bolts are black iron grade 8's. They don't loosen up! The gauge of the metal arms is three times thicker than my last set. The only negative which confused me is the safety chain is so light weight, I wouldn't trust it towing my jeep. Maybe a jet ski trailer. My jeep weighs 5,000lbs. Make sure you check the locking tension for the 2" ball latch. Mine was a bit too loose. Other than that. I'm very impressed for the money.

Great price for the product you get.
This is not the highest quality tow bar that you can use for anything, but for the 5500lb weight limit, it is more than heavy enough. I welded up some custom mounts on my Jeep XJ and this flat tows the Jeep perfectly! Awesome value for the quality of the product. Read the warning, and do NOT use this on heavier than rated towing.

The hitch lock-down mechanism was very sloppy and difficult to operate.

Broke on the 1st use
I purchased this towbar to tow my non working vehicle 1⁄2 mile away to my Neighbor that's a mechanic . Thetow bar broke on the 1st use Bending the pins And damaging the "U" hooks that attached to the towed vehicle. I've attempted twice to reach out to the company To respond Left my email my phone number and my address have received nothing in return from them This throw bar damaged my My towing vehicle Which if I do the work myself will cost me several hundred dollars As far as right now I will never buy anything from this company nor will my friends or other acquaintances It would be much better to buy an American made bar For towing anything
