Better safe than sorry
Hope this bag never gets tested but at least i made the effort, primarily bought to house a Anker solix C300X (UK) and a Anker solix C200DC (UK) and a couple of powerbanks which it does admirably, some would say you shouldn’t keep all these in the same bag…maybe so but my powerbanks are also in separate explosion/fireproof envelopes, over the top ? well you only get one chance with lithium batteries, now i know the Anker Solix has LifePO4 batteries so not prone to exploding or catching fire but better safe than sorry.

Useful , sturdy and would recommend
Excellent for holding a battery. Has been used while fishing on lochs . Gives good protection and makes carrying battery easier. Would recommend

Dangerous fibreglass shards
The outside contained numerous fibreglass shards that have left me needing medical treatment as they are on skin and went into the air

Don’t not use if battery terminals are exposed could be very dangerous
I wanted it to store and carry lithium battery but the inside is metal so battery was sparking

Battery bag
Excellent product, easy to manage on flight

Using as a weather storage for my AGM/flooded cell
Ignore the water on top of the battery, this is because i didnt dry before putting into the bag! I am using this to store my garden battery covered and away from the elements. Not the intended use but works for what i need. This is a very high quality battery storage bag and is indeed waterproof and is thick enough that i believe it to be explosion proof. Hopefully i never find out. The bag has inside, battery straps to secure the battery to the bottom of the bag. They are too big to securely fit smaller batteries. My 12v battery does not secure nicely using these straps. Also, if there was a fire inside of the bag, these could melt and propagate - hopefully not heating the bag up so much that the inside sheeting melts. If you travel with lithium batteries or even store them inside of your house, using a battery bag like this is a must. Now, after reading other reviews and learning that a fire performance test fails, it is slightly concerning. I have not tested this myself so i cannot confirm or deny. Either way, i would much rather a battery explode inside of the bag than not. I will not see this personally as i am not storing a lithium cell inside.
