Great for cleaning small spaces (e.g. inside clocks and firearm internals), since its ends don't lose fibres as much as standard Q-tips.

Absolutely useless! Potentially dangerous.Used to be amazing, I preferred these to normal cotton buds as they had a pointed tip and were great for things like cleaning your ears and tidying up mistakes when painting nails.However they've changed the material of the stalks which has rendered them useless. I compared them to a few I had leftover, and the difference is night and day.The material and strength of the stalk is not much stronger than a plastic drinking straw. You can't use them for anything because you have no control over them, the slightest bit of pressure causes them to bend. I made the mistake of trying to clean my ears with them and ended up with pain for days because the stalk bent as per photo causing injury.I also tried using them to correct mistakes when painting my nails. Before, I used to dip the tip in nail varnish remover and carefully remove mistakes where I'd got polish on tips of fingers or where it had bled onto cuticle or sides of nails. You need a little pressure to remove the polish which of course caused them to abruptly bend, causing a complete mess.Even trying to reduce the leverage by holding close to the tip, they still bend uncontrollably.This is what they are advertised for, "nail tees", but they're now a useless waste of money, and they're not cheap either compared with other cotton buds.I won't be buying again and am very disappointed as I've been using these for a long time. I'd previously given this product 5 stars, now I grudge the 1 star necessary for reviews, we should be allow to submit reviews with no stars which is what this deserves.

Great to clean up around nails after polish goes on either used right after each nail is polished individually (and used dry) or later after polish is completely dry and then dipped the tip of this into polish remover to remove messy edges. Easy on nails and especially cuticles :-) GOOD PRODUCT, thank you!

Perfect, way better then a plain old qtip, easily removes nail art on sides of your nail or makeup.

For someone that makes a mess when I do my nails these are a godsend! Work like a charm
