Will be buying more!
I've been printing almost exclusively with 3dMars pla/abs. Just dumped over $200 in upgrades to my CR-10S (vibration dampers, ultrabase build plate, Micro Swiss solid hot end, computer upgd, ect ect. the works...) decided to spoil myself with some fancy filament now that the printer is printing in God-mode....and ive never bought the fancy PLA+ stuff before... I saw the reviews for Purple Haze this last week and ordered a roll. It prints so well. Very little stringing, and its just georgious to look at for - whaever. I didnt buy it with anything in mind i just wanted to start testing some brands. Its VERY worth the price.Print settings: 214c, .2mm res, ~48mms speed, heatbed@60cHOLY COW! Sticks well, bonds well, consistent, single wall stable! STRONG! ..and IT LOOKS SICK! Almost an iridescent shimmer in bright light and it has such a pleasing deep glass purple color to it. Anyway I love it and will be buying more from these guys- love love love love it!

You'll like this filament
I have to admit: The name of the color of this filament is what caught my eye in Amazon's "You may like this." sidebar. Amazon was correct. This is some very nice filament. It prints well at standard PLA settings and, so far, has been well-spooled - no crossovers; no tangles; very consistent. The color is a very rich purple. It's not clear from the product photo or the description, but this is a translucent filament color. You'll need several layers or perimeters to hide any infill, if that's what you want. I printed in single-perimeter vase mode and it was very nice. Purple vase in "Purple Haze." <grin>I think you'll like this filament and, in particular, this color. You certainly can't beat the price ($18 a kilo at the time of this review.) I'll be checking out some of the other colors of 3DRAX filament.

The shiny surface and translucent effect is nice.. Only issue is it likes to unwind ...
So far it prints well for me on my Printrbot SM at .2mm on a .4mm nozzled EV3D hotend. I made a single wall vase, a few crystals for my daughter and a few bigger ones for my wife to use as risers for our 2D printer. The shiny surface and translucent effect is nice.. Only issue is it likes to unwind and jump off the spool. I resolve this by wedging old debit cards in between the filament and spool to guide and prohibit the filament from jumping.

Great Look, Cantankerous to Print With (so far)
I love the color. On the prints I've made, it looks great.Sadly, like some other reviews I've seen for it, this is a cantankerous filament to print with. I can live with a little bit of fiddling, but I've just had my third major nozzle clog in two days, so for now I'm setting it aside.Conversely I've found my spool of Inland PLA to print both consistently and well, and my Sunlu ABS to be almost as consistent, but that's probably due to my lack of enclosure. I've tried raising/lowering the print temp, but I just can't quite get it where I want. A mystery for another day it seems.

Awesome Filament, but needs a LOT of heat.
I will say, this filament is awesome when you get it printing. The layer adhesion is great, and it is one of the stronger/harder PLA's I've used. This does come with some drawbacks if you can call it that. One of the drawbacks of this filament is it requires a lot of heat to get it extruding correctly. Usually with PLA I use roughly 200C-210C on my hot-end. With this stuff, I had to crank it up to 235C. At 235C, though, it prints beautifully. Higher temps seem to help with the semi-translucent nature of this kind of filament. For reference, I am using a Ultimaker 2+ Extended printing at 60-80mm/s default speed.Other than that, the filament is pretty great. The dementional accuracy is good (lowest spot I've got was 1.743, and the highest at 1.754).

Meh
This filament has been the most complicated setup I have needed to do for a filament. I print with a Prusa i3 Mk3. Retraction is key because this stuff strings like crazy. My overall review layer adhesion is pretty poor, does not work under 198c and works best around 205 to 215. I have wasted about half the roll just printing something that looks nice but falls apart in the hand.

Pretty, but not worth the hassle.
I bought this Filament because of the great looking color, and because my Granddaughter loves Purple; however, It just wont print. I have tried printing from below 200C and above 220C in various increments, but every time I have printed, it has clogged the nozzle on my Prusa MK2S.On the plus side, every object I have printed has had great color and the prints have been very smooth, up until the point it clogs. If I could every find the right combination of settings, it might be ok. So far, changing the temperature, print speed and retraction have not helped.I have printed several rolls of PLA from several different manufacturer with no problems, but just can't get through a single print on this one. I would not recommend this product.

Still had a 2.0-2.1mm section jam
Just happened, love this stuff, almost done with the roll and it jammed in my BMG. Measured as 2.0, without pressure on the caliper 2.1
