Excellent optical quality glass, nice cases - and cheap too! A very useful set.
This is a really nice little set - I'm not too sure when I'll use the Circular Polariser or the Fluorescent filters on my old 35mm Rangefinder cameras (I use FP4+ mainly) but it is well worth it for the ND and UV filters. At the weekend, I'll be taking photographs with my 1945 Leica at the VE (80) celebrations using HP5+ at EI1,600 but as my shutter speed is limited to 1/500 if I want to take some pictures outside in the sunshine on the same film I'll need to use the ND4 or ND8 filters and remove them when I go back inside. I like to keep the UV filter on as a lens protector of course and use the solid lens hood which doesn't intrude too much on the viewfinder. Most importantly, these filters are excellent optically. I have always used Hoya in the past as they are superb Japanese optical glass manufacturers, and although the coating on this isn't as good as the hydrophobic coating on the Hoya ones, optically they look pretty much identical but at a fraction of the cost - I look at the refraction as you tilt the glass, the better the filter the less the image moves. This set comes with two filter cases, each holding four filters, and my only complaint is the silly sealed plastic bags that the filters arrive in. After removing them from the bags and cleaning the finger marks off, I put them into a sealable plastic bag each - one that they could be removed from without causing additional finger marks!(for the observant, I have a special step-up ring that fits my Summitar and allows 40.5mm filters)

Good fit and a nice range of filters
Good fit to my camera and gives me a chance to alter the pictures easily.Fitted the uv filter directly in front of the lens.Lens hoods cover most situations.

Good Quality & AMAZING Value
I really just needed the UV filter to protect the lens on my new Lumix Fz82 bridge camera, but the polarizer lens will be very very useful as well, and the others are just an additional bonus for me to try out my photographic skills later.I'm not in anyway a professional, but the quality of this kit seems to me very good, and the fit of the 55mm kit I ordered is perfect for my Fz82. It's worth noteing that my original Lumix lens cap is not a great fit with the filter in place, it will fit but comes off very easily, but a new lens cap and attaching strap are both supplied with the kit, and are a great fit onto the Neewar lenses. For me I would have preferred to see the new Neewar lens cap strap to be able to be threaded through the cap to attach it rather than the stick-on attachment supplied, but it is a very minor point, and I certainly wouldn't mark them down because of it.Given the cost of this kit, when compared to the cost of a simple UV filter from say the likes of Hoya, for my type of use these are perfect. The kit is supplied well packed and comes with two really quite good wallets to hold upto four lenses in each, but in my kit of six, obviously had 3 lenses in each, so there is space for a further two lenses to be added later if required. Delivery was also quick, one day less than the shortest time indicated by Amazon.

Great for the price.
Faultless! The Neutral Density (ND) filters are wonderful and they do stop the light hitting the sensors no problem. The other filters are perfect too but normally you don't need a UV filter on a digital camera but I use it just to protect the lens. The other filters will them screw onto the UV filter but don't screw too tight. The polarised filter does have a revolving rim "GASP" and is ideal. I didn't realise it had a revolving rim until I actually used it and screwed it on.I can tell you now that anyone giving these filters and less than 5 stars are bonkers because these are superb. The wallets they came in are and look really well made as does the filters. The rubber lens shade is really good too and will push flat to allow it to fit in your case. I have no use for the plastic screw on shade so that will be used for something when I have my thinking head on.The lens cap is a good one and comes with a lanyard but I will not use the lanyard as I do not want it dangling from the camera.I would recommend these to anyone who want cheap but quality lenses.

Lens hoods not very good
Haven't tried the filters yet mainly because i'm still not 100% sure how and when to do so but did try the rubber lens hood which was no good as produced a lot of vignettes on short lens pictures and the petal hood did not fit properly! The lens caps are also a waste of time as they constantly fall off. I apologise to all the Photography experts out there for my use of vignette if not correctly described but i'm a beginner and i do know what looks good and what looks rubbish!I bought the kit for my Panasonic FZ82 as it has a 55mm lens.Overall as a kit not very good - would not recommend buying as a set but i'm sure the filters will be fine so just buy them on their own if needed.

Good enough
Good quality for an amature photographer like myself. One filter is slightly damaged so image quality suffered but I don't believe that is general problem probably just this one.Thankfully I don't use that too often. Note that the weather cover is too big on some lenses and show up on images. I don't believe that should be the case so I can't use it on a full zoom distance
