NEOGEN DERMALOGY V.biome Soothing Cream

This formula is great for sensitive and other types of skin. It has a mild odor plus the ingredients are effective in making my skin feel moisturized. The container has a unique little spoon attached to the cover, using it instead of the finger to scoop up a few amounts of the cream.

I had some dryness around my nose, I applied this, fully expecting the already damaged skin to start burning, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't burn. It is actually soothing. I appreciated the applicator. I don't like dipping my fingers in jars and getting product under my nails. I didn't use the globe applicator to massage the cream into my face, instead I washed my hands, then used it to place a small amount of product onto the back of my hand, and applied with my finger tips. I'm happy with this face cream. Saying cream feels funny, as it feels more like a gel to me. I am a fan of the beneficial ingredients and would order again.

I used it after serum during my AM routine.PROS: Clearly marked expiration date on both box and jar. The bulb applicator tip allowed for dropping a usable amount of cream on my fingertip (I refrained from touching the application bulb directly to my skin for hygienic reasons). The cream has a gel-like consistency which allowed for easy application and absorption into my skin. My skin felt quite hydrated and moisturized after application though that dissipated a bit within an hour or so. The price is on par with the quality and quantity of the product.CONS: Though the scent isn't overly strong, it had a menthol-like note to it even after drying on your skin so it would probably not work for those sensitive to smells. I wish the initial softening of my skin from this lasted longer throughout the day.

Like others, I thought the applicator was odd. But I think they did that because the cream itself is a bit gloppy and might be difficult to scoop out. So the way I’m using this is to drip the cream from the applicator into my hand and then apply to face. This way I don’t touch the product itself and it stays fresher in the jar. Now for the cream, it feels nice. I did notice a bit of skin tightening as it dried. I didn’t like that it felt a bit sticky at first. I’d say it’s a decent product, I haven’t seen any wow results but it does moisturize.

V. Biome Soothing Cream came sealed and included an expiration date (2025) on both box and bottle.It has a gel-cream consistency and smooths over face nicely, absorbing within about 30 seconds. My face does not feel sticky after putting this on but it’s also not quite as moisturizing as other heavier creams I have. I like to apply it over my retinol serum at night or over my vitamin c serum in the morning. Keep in mind there are a few types of vitamin c included in this cream already. There are also some other great ingredients like niacinamide, panthenol, and hyaluronic acids. There is little to no scent which I something I love in a skincare product.Personally I think the applicator globe is pointless. I don’t use it for the suggested massage but perhaps some people will enjoy that aspect.My face has been looking calmer and brighter and smoother since using this cream. There are so many skin-benefitting ingredients, it’s hard not to love.Highly recommended.
