I typically like these soaps.My bar of this one does have a strong smell that fragrances the whole bathroom, and wafts a bit around the house.I can't say I think this smells like hay. To me it has a fresh springtime flouwer scent. The closest I can get is a scent related to that of hyacinth, or jonquills. Springtime floral.I was expecting something dry and powdery as that is what I think when I think hay. This is more green.Nice. Not my favourite but that's a personal thing.Soap is the typical high lather, long lasting from this company.
