Complicated
Not stated in description advertisement but assembly instructions require a 3m square flat surface and indicate 90 minutes to build. It took me over a day and was so complicated to read correctly the pages and diagrams of instructions. I have GCE's in technical drawing and woodwork and I feel qualified to state this pitfails. In addition I had to add extra materials to strengthen this average product. Frustrating.

Disappointed
Fairly good item, speedy delivery. However, had a problem assembling 2 of the drawers as the holes marked out for inserting the screws were too near the edge resulting in wood splitting. Called in a craftsman who was able to help out by making new more appropriately positioned holes to capture screws without splitting the wood. Disappointed with quality of drawers.

Wood not numbered
The item came earlier than stated, which was a surprise as I was waiting for another order at the time.Once I started to build the tallboy I noticed that none of the wood was numbered only the hardware, screws, hinges etc.So I had to identify what piece was what using the highly detailed pictogram on the first page of the item blown up, which slowed down the build process.Once that was done building it was ok, it's not too hard, but it does require some space as the instructions ask you to turn it on its front and back in order to build it.I've been trying to find a wardrobe like this design for ages and at £151 I think it is well worth the money! No chipboard, MDF only solid wood.

Good and solid but assembly is a puzzle
Arrived quickly in two boxes. Well-packaged with a comprehensive set of instructions that numbers all the parts. Unfortunately none of the actual parts are marked with numbers, either on some hidden spot or with little stickers, as I have had on other cheaper flat-pack products. Working out which part is which is a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, comparing the holes shown in the images with the holes on the pieces.Once you figure it out, though, all the pieces go together well using dowel pegs and screws - lots of screws. Even without my habit of using wood glue on all dowels and mating faces (top tip for all flat-pack assembly, there!) this goes together very solidly and looks the business. It's let down slightly by the cheap fibreboard back panels and drawer bases but nonetheless these are probably the most solid flat-pack drawers I have ever assembled. The cupboard door secures closed with two spring-loaded friction clips which have a very positive feel to them. You do have to adjust their position after assembly to ensure that the door sits flush and square when closed, however. It comes with brackets and bar to form a hanging rail as it is designed as a wardrobe but I did not install these parts as I bought this as a lounge cabinet and not a wardrobe - and it does exactly what I wanted it for; stores my in the drawers and certain tall items in the cupboard, with my hi-fi unit on top. It also looks really rather good.Although it's waxed I would thoroughly recommend getting some quality wax-based furniture polish and giving it a good going over a couple of times before leaving in situe to really bring out the finish.

I like!
Took about 4 hours to put together and that was working pretty fast but carefully. Probably would have been a lot quicker if someone had assisted me but I have no friends and my enemies weren't available as they were attending a WEF conference at an undisclosed location. The result was very good, however, and worth the time invested. Customer service were excellent, replacing a defective part faster than a duck.
