Had a failing battery in an old Compaq notebook and saw this much higher capacity replacement battery. Got it an placed it in the notebook and charged without problems. Great battery so far and super price. Delivery was great and packaged well. I will repeat this purchase in a few months just to have the spare battery on hand.

So far this battery seems good. I purchased a similar, different brand, replacement battery several years ago and that one did not want to hold much of a charge for very long. This GHU battery is lasting pretty long from a full charge until it almost runs out.Update: I have had this battery for only about 16 months and it totally died. It would not accept a charge anymore. Although it probably is my fault. Read entire review. I did not use it very much during that 16 month time period because this was not my main computer. I only used it for special occasions which were approximately 8 times during those 16 months. Perhaps it died because the last time I used the computer, I ran it until the battery totally discharged and the computer shut off. But I have done that before and it recharged again with no problem. After online research I found out that it is not good to totally discharge a lithium ion battery and it will greatly shorten its life. So it was probably my fault. I bought another new battery from the same vendor. It is the exact same battery type. Hopefully this battery will last longer than the last one, and I will not let it totally discharge while using it as well as when storing it.

Would buy again

The same as above the battery or no good I had to return now. I think it’s too late to return this bad battery.

I had to place this order 2x because the original order was lost in the wharehouse. The battery is loose and really does not sit flush with the laptop. Feels loose.

What a disappointment this was it only charged up to 80% ,it was impossible to return as the post office wouldn’t accept it as it was DANGEROUS, I was advised on chat not too return it and I was refunded
