My 6 year old nephew is really into bakugan and given my partner and I have played some battle card games and enjoyed them I thought I'd get this. To the dismay of avid fans, I'm a total noob, but I'm enjoying it so far.Pros:• Good value given you get 6 bakugan in the set• Fun game for both kids and adults• Customisable partsCons:• No instructionsSo, coming at this as somebody who doesn't follow the franchise, I may sound a bit silly. My nephew is a total nerd and has some bakugan balls already, but these new ones can be customised so you can strategize further what sort of stats you have.You get a few rolling bakugan and two newer "spin" ones. The idea of the game, put in total layman's terms, is to roll them onto these special gate cards (which are magnetic) and then the characters pop up.With the special ones they spin (and you get these little tracks to help with this), and if you have an arena then you have more complicated factors involved (like the walls and them bumping into eachother) which can make the game more competitive and immersive.Disregarding the dismay from the nephew at my lack of nerdy terminology, I really did have fun playing it. I like the character cards (my favourite part of any card game!) and sort of got my head around how to figure out who wins in battle.The set seems like good value for what it is, given what you get and the characters. The customisable aspect is really awesome in my opinion and I love the interactivity of the game with the models and the cards. This is a great place to start for new people (with help of preexisting fans as instructions are no good) or committed fans of the franchise.I think it would make a great gift for any bakugan fan. You can also buy them further gifts (like the arena or more characters) in the future. My nephew loves it and I'm getting better at the game; so for us it's been a winner and given us something to bond over. Really cool item.

Having several grandchildren who absolutely love these Bakugan we ordered the battle arena which then lead to this order of this 6 pack.This includes 3 special attack Bakugan which are the spinning type, 1 titanium Bakugan, and 2 Core Bakugan balls.There are also several trading cards included which are used in the gameplay.Dragonoids, Nillious, Mantid and Octogan are included in this set and my grandchildren desperately wanted to add them to their collection.This game can be played in different ways and can be be adapted and to suit different ages.There is a fuller more strategic game and a more luck driven game for younger players and I do like how versatile it is and how it grows with them.I also love the way that the spheres morph and change into the characters who are all very unique and detailed.If you like collections, cards and strategic gameplay then I would recommend this set of 6.I hope you find my review helpful.

This makes the best gift for any Bakugan fan but also generally for any kids from the age of 6 years old.The box contains the 3 spinning Bakugan attack toys, 1 Titanium Bakugan, 2 Core Bakugan balls , trading cards , collectors sheet and bakugan token.Fun to play with and entertaining.highly recommended

There are times in your life when you feel old and 'Bakugan' is one of these times. At this point we have several characters and sets, and I still have no idea what is going on. From what I can tell it is a hybrid toy/game that has ball figures that open and cards to play with. Like a child version of Top Trumps/D&D where you have the figures to add to the enjoyment.The packs come with various pieces and cards that represent the balls or the arena. In this case you get the ultimate larger collection of three spinning Bakugan, one Titanium Bakugan, two Bakugan balls and trading cards. It is a good starting point for a child getting into the range as you get bits of everything. The spinning toys are cool.The quality of the toys is good, although the small pieces that open and close does make me think that they may break over time. My children enjoy the toys and that is what matters, even if they make no sense to me.
