Mold Max 40 - Condensation Cure Silicone Rubber Compound - Pint Unit

I bought this to make some hand pour lure molds for personal use. I heard that Mold Max 40 was one of the best for detail preservation and that statement held true with my first purchase of this silicone. Really all you need is a scale and mixing utensils and cups and you’re good to go. Directions are very clear and the cure time is relatively quick depending on the curing environment. Great stuff I’ll definitely be buying again!

I was having trouble getting Dragon Skin 20 to cure around 3D Printed objects, read about this silicone instead and it has worked great for me, i still love dragon skin 20 for other purposes but for molding 3D printed things, this is my go-to now!

This product didn't cure properly, and I know how to mix it properly. Although the product appeared sealed when I received it, there were burn-like marks inside the cover, which may have indicated improper storage prior to shipment. The product was not expired, however it still did not cure properly after mixing. Item was returned for a refund.

I purchased a number of silicone mixes when I was trying to get into mold making, and they all worked for what I needed them for. However the cost involved ramps up extremely quickly. If you are serious about getting into mold making, you'll likely want to find another supplier.

Great product, easy to use. Watch some youtube videos on the topic if you've never done this before. At the very least read the directions.

Vacuums easy and last's a long time!

Super easy to use. A bit hard to dye from the bright foam green color. Was looking for something with a similar hardness to a rubber end cap for PVC piping and this nailed it.

This is the first time I used it and I'm very please. It came out perfect and I have been able to use it continuously without flaw. Highly recommend...
