Worth it…
These are certainly pricey - I try to buy in bulk and usually go for medium, but sometimes as a special treat I will get a pack of large as they last longer. My dog has one of these at night, as part of his routine. He knows when it’s coming and gets very excited. I like to spice them up a bit - so for example, I will sometimes semi-fill a hedgehog or alligator with liver paste, or add dog toothpaste to the toothbrush shaped chew. He seems to get extra enjoyment from that! His teeth are in a very good condition and he’s almost six. He does also get them brushed, but I do think the whimzees help too (and it’s something for him to look forwards to!)He tends to get through the sticks the fastest of all (in a couple of minutes), then toothbrushes, then alligators and the longest lasting are definitely the hedgehogs. Partly as they’re larger, but I think the shape also provides a bit more of a challenge. Long story short, they’re expensive, but worth it (the price has jumped a lot in the past 12 months - but where hasn’t it?) seem more effective than dentastix with much better ingredients for an allergic dog!

Dogs enjoy these, good for sensitive tummies, but Christmas theming is disappointing
My dogs enjoy these chewy treats, and they don’t upset the little one’s tummy like rawhide and some others. They don’t last long, not as long as rawhide or pig’s ears, and make for some interesting marbled orange or green poos (just mentioning it as it can be a bit alarming if you’re not expecting it!)The Christmas theming was a disappointment. What you get is a standard long stick shaped chew, but instead of the normal star or cross cross-section, it’s an almost indistinguishable tree or blob (apparently a snowman) cross section. You really wouldn’t notice that they were different unless you’re specifically looking.I recommend the Whimzees chews, of any shape, but don’t pay extra for the Christmas theming of these.

Great longevity - Our Doberman has to chew it!
I often buy these at the vets for £3 each so this is great value for money. Our doberman devours normal dentastix in less than 20 seconds, this took him a whole 15 minutes! We've got 3 large dogs and it took the girls a good 20 minutes.Clearly full of flavour coz they love them. Not cheap enough to be an every day treat but great for an occasional one. I'll be back for more.

Fun chews without rawhide, quite expensive and don’t last long
My dogs enjoy these chews and get very excited when I get the bag out. They don’t upset their tummies and don’t contain rawhide which can cause tummy problems. The large hedgehogs are a good size for my labradors. They don’t last nearly as long as a rawhide chew but still seem satisfying and entertaining. They are quite expensive for a few minutes of chewing, so I don’t buy them as often as I’d like. Look out for the brightly coloured output when you’re poo picking the next day!

German shepherd loved them
Not sure how I can comment on taste lol but German shepherd seems to like them they look cute they don’t last that long about 10 mins but for a German shepherd I suppose that good dropped a star due to being a bit expensive but I will buy them again cause the dog seems to like them

Leaves our dogs breath fresh for days
Our dog is thirteen and suffers from bad breath. We have tried several different products to remove the plaque From his mouth without success. Due to his age we didn’t want to put him under to clean his teeth so the vet recommended Whimzees Hedgehogs. These are by far the best. He is a Staffie who likes to swallow rather than chew so most treats hardly touch the sides. However he has to chew the hedgehogs due to their size and therefore gets a good clean. Leaving his breath fresh for days. Highly recommend.

Dog didn’t enjoy
My dog absolutley loves the whimzees products but with this hedgehog shaped one he refused to eat them. Not sure if it was to big for him or an awkward shape. He is a 21kilo dog and according to the packaging the large ones are supposed to be good for him. I don’t know wether he is just being a fussy eater or the large ones where just that bit to big for him

Happy
Happy dog so likely to become a Christmas staple. Review askes for Longevity - that's ok for a constantly hungry Labrador with powerful jaws, Flavour - I must admit I haven't tried one! so cant comment on that with any authority. Oscar seems happy enough though and Scent - very little scent so no objections there either. All this with a seasonal shaping, what could be wrong
