Beautiful colour . Waxy paper feel

This is a beautiful, decorative and colourful grazing board which perfectly captures the lights and festivities of Diwali. The pattern is lovely especially with the lovely border. It is definitely inspired from Indian designs such as rangoli, henna and mandalas which lends an authentic touch to the Diwali dinner table! The size of the board is equally very good, stretching across the middle of the table. It is a lovely piece from which to serve food from. You don't have to place food directly on to the board, it works just as well as a background for plates and bowls. It is sustainable in that it is made from high-quality cardboard with high-quality print. However, the only minor thing is that I'm not sure how many times it can be reused over and over again, if placing food directly on to it as it is made from cardboard and if the food is greasy, it may soak through the cardboard over time. As well as the lovely design, one of the best features is that it can be folded up so it makes it very easy to store away until the next use.

I got these paper plates for a little get together I was hosting. They had gorgeous colours and pretty ethnic patterns that added a touch of class to the buffet table. I found them to be reasonably sturdy and fit for purpose and a few people attending mentioned that the snacks looked good set out upon them.

(1) ~ VERSION: ‘SPICE NAPKINS’The pack of colourful, 3-ply paper napkins arrived at an opportune time for I was contemplating something suitable to take to a party, next month.21 are supplied as is explained on the ‘plastic-free’ packaging (image below refers).Printed one side only (white reverse), in a repeat 4 square layout when opened out, ‘Happy Diwali’ is in a creamy-white in the middle of the 16.5 cm square, which has a 5 mm fuchsia coloured border; the other main colours being 2 shades of orange, dark beige & teal (to my eye).Using the ‘spare’ to try out, they seem reasonably strong, with a stippled 4 cm border all round.There is a note on the back of the box re the possible transfer of colour when wet.The cardboard box measures around 17 cm square (not including the point-of-sale hanger) x 2.5 cmooOoo(2) ~ VERSION: SPICE-TABLECOVERSIZE: Approx. 180 cm x 120 cmThe straight-edged tablecover matches thepaper napkinsin colour for the best part, but has a cream coloured central panel and no wording, which means it could be used for other events. Printed one side only, the tablecover is a reasonable thickness with a shiny, slightly crinkly feel.It came folded in a branded cardboard cover and is VERY stubborn on the creases, but as I have it on an autumn display table I have managed to place weights & fallen (fake) leaves over to hide the worst!

Gorgeous Indian colors perfect for my book club’s India brunch. Used them for dessert.
