Works for PS5 extended storage in Raid 1
I've used this enclosure on my pc and just moved it over to my PS5. In Raid 0 my PS5 detecs my two 4TB SSDs as 8. Will update this review if anything fail.

Works Great!
Surprised this just worked out of the box. The instructions aren't so clear, but basically after you set the dip switches you have to hit the reset button for like 10 seconds, then usually I have to unplug the drive then plug it back in for it to register. Both side drive lights should also be on, otherwise you're not in raid mode. These results will vary with your specific drive but I'm using 5400rpm from 2014:RAID 0 : 168MB/sRAID 1: 100MB/sI use it both on mac and pc, seems fine so far. Very cost effective way to utilize old drives.

WORTH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Some people say it overheats, so it's no good for continuous high demand use. I used it for nothing more than archival storage, but this piece of garbage can't handle large contiguous file transfers. It is worth absolutely nothing, nothing at all. Don't buy it.

Compact and easy to use.
Very nice and and compact.Simple instructions and the only thing that I didn't know would not work, is that TrueNAS doesn't work with hardware RAID, so I use it on normal mode. But that is my fault for not knowing that when I bought it so, 5 stars anyway.

Plastic case - no heat sink.
The plastic case is not good for conducting heat away from the memory chips.

Does the job!
I was looking for an inexpensive way to mirror 1TB SSD's on my ProxMox server. I set the chassis up using normal and let ProxMox handle the mirroring. I love how the chassis is completely toolless. If you don't have a spare USB for power, you'll need a USB adaptor plug (not included).

Piece of Garbage
This device does not work in any of the 4 modes. I have tried this device on 3 different computers attempting to use the various modes and only twice has it ever shown in the OS and only briefly. Attempting to return it but getting a "We're Sorry" message. There needs to be a zero stars option for products like this.

Misleading design - fan does not cool drives
The images and description make it appear as if the fan is taking in air to cool the drives when that is not the case. The fans blow into a closed chamber that houses the circuit board and doesn't actually ever reach the drives. They are instead in their own chamber with nearly no ventilation. Not worth the price AT ALL and you're better off looking else where.
