Stronger than larger rubber coated magnets! Actual dimensions listed below
I did a quick down and dirty pull test on these magnets to compare against the larger, 1.79” magnets I have ordered from Amazon in the past. I assumed these would be weaker since they are smaller and wanted to know by how much. I attached these mags to the underside of a steel desk frame and then hung a 15lb kettlebell under a crane scale attached to the mag. It held the kettle bell well and I slowly applied more force watching the scale lbs go up until the magnet gave way. It would hold up to between 19 and 21 lbs before falling which doesn’t include the weight of the crane scale. So maybe around 23 lbs or so it will hold I am guessing. The larger 1.79” magnets, most claiming a 30lb hold, would barely hold the 15lb kettlebell. I only needed to add one or two lbs of force and they would give up.Very surprising so thought I should share this. Also should note that this scale is not designed for this lightweight application so this is more of just comparing the strength of the two different magnet sizes. I think the larger one is weaker because it uses several small magnets rather that one larger single magnet like the 1.26”.I measure these magnets at 1.218” x .240” so not the 1.26 that is advertised..

Great holding power
These magnets have more holding power than I was expecting. I have a small trailed and find it difficult to back it up. I used these magnets with a short rod screwed into the threaded hole with a flag on the end . I attach one on both back corners on the side of the trailer. Now when I back up I can see the flag and know where the trailer is going. By using a magnet to attach the flag markers they can be easily attached and removed as they are only needed while backing up. They really have a lot of holding power and I found them a perfect solution for my problem.

Pretty strong magnets, but also pretty small
I got these magnets so I could mount lights and antenna's temporarily to my truck without having to drill holes. These magnets are very strong for their size, but I don't think they'll work for my purposes. I don't think these will have any issue holding lights and antenna's in place while stationary, but I'm not quite sure they'll hold up to highway speeds - and I'm not really willing to risk my equipment to find out. These magnets are tiny - The magnet itself feels like it's about the size of a nickel, and the rubber part is about the size of a quarter. It does provide enough padding to prevent scratching your paint. Like I said, these are strong magnets, but due to their size (magnetic coverage area), I would only use them for very light objects on a moving vehicle or to mount something that won't experience high winds or remains in a somewhat stationary position.Overall, these are pretty nice, I just don't think they'll work for my application. 4/5 stars.

Does the job
Strong magnets worked perfectly for my application

These magnets are the cat's meow
I used 3 of these magnets to attach a "slow moving vehicle" placard to the roll bar on my tractor and it works GREAT. With the magnets being bolted to the placard, I didn't have to drill holes in the roll bar, and I can pull it off and move it to a different piece of equipment if I need to. Also, as strong as these magnets are, there's no way that placard is going to vibrate off.

Who knew ..
So these magnets are great for kickstands on Harley Davidsons touring models, if only Harley had thought of using such a thing ,They hold the jiffy stand up the frame nice and tight, should you loose a spring this will get you home .

These things are strong!
These worked perfectly to mount strobe light on plow truck. I only had to use 2! These are insanely strong and seem to be great quality.

Not as strong as they say, but strong enough for me
I couldn't believe the 40lb claim. So I measured it 90 degrees from surface and 180 degrees from surface. The mating surface is hot rolled steel with a thin coat of paint. Both measurements were 6.3Kg to move/break the adhesion. So instead of 40lbs, I am measuring about 14 lbs force. Not bad. I am using them to hold some LED lights to a steel beam. They are more than strong enough for that job.Note. I also found them smaller than I expected, but still works for me.
