It says it’s on the tough side, old fashioned. It’s not tough like I like it and it’s sweet. I hate sweet jerky. If I wanted sweet I would’ve bought teriyaki flavored. Very disappointed , it’s very greasy too, chewy fat hanging off. I can’t believe I paid so much , every time I looked for old fashioned tough jerky this popped up so I gave it a try. A waste of money.

Tastes pretty good, came up in my search for dry jerky, its just not dry enough for me

I had high hopes for this. The bag was large and definitely packed with the jerky. I ate the first piece and right away it was way too dry. Since I like pepper I didn’t think it was too peppery but for those that don’t like pepper it definitely is too much. The taste, well that was different story. It literally took me to eat three pieces before I acquired the taste for it. It’s alright. Nothing great. If I was able to return the bag I would but since I can I will power through the bag. It has a strange chemical taste to it. Once you get used to it the jerky is alright. Definitely would say if you want to try another brand before this I would do that first.

First time ordering this flavor. I thought it was just black pepper. It’s taste like black pepper and a sweet teriyaki kind of flavor. It’s really good! Thick cut pieces but still dry. Definitely getting again

Not sure why, but the sweetness of this jerky tastes off. Texture is ok and other flavors from this brand are fine, this is just a miss
