Can't complain much given the price. Don't expect top quality though. The wood is surprisingly light-weight. The hardware is decent but not top quality (some metal brackets may need a little straightening). Don't overtighten anything as the wood and hardware may not be able to take it... but the shelves look good and as long as you can get everything straight and level then they are easy enough to install. I left a little space between the wall and the shelves because I plan to put some electronics on the shelves (like a small router box and Ethernet switch(es)) later and I will want to run the wires between the wall and the shelf and have enough room.See photos.Overall 4.5 stars and rounding up to 5.

It’s always nice to have more room and using wall space is a great way to do that. I purchased these shelves because they were priced well and I liked how neutral the wood’s color was. Installation was shockingly easy, I was able to install these with a simple set of screwdrivers. Even when securing the anchors into the wall, I was able to use only regular screwdrivers. Important tip, make sure the screwdriver that you use to make the hole is a little smaller than the anchor so it securely fits. The wood itself is sort of strange, a bit styrofoam-y. It is very light but still seems like solid wood. I would not recommend testing the density, it feels like it would turn into dust like floral foam. It is super easy to push screws through it without any guidance holes. The brackets are really nice and heavy though some showed some damage upon opening. The screws are good, but the anchors themselves are pretty weak. I didn’t test the 40lbs description, but I don’t believe it honestly. Some of my anchors came in a bit damaged, so keep that in mind. They are very simple but very cute. I'm glad I finally purchased them. Worth the money. Will be purchasing another set

We absolutely love how easy these shelves are easy to assemble and put up. They are sturdy. We loved them so much we bought another set. My young teenage son was able to do it all by himself with no issues.

These are inexpensive and look nice, but I have one big piece of advice: DO NOT try to use the cheap plastic anchors that come with the shelves. They are junk. (Other reviewers have said the same.)In my case, the first 3 broke, even after I increased the size of the drill bit, leaving unsightly holes in the wall that required putty and paint to fix. Buy some real anchors, preferably metal, especially if you expect these shelves to actually support the 40 pounds they advertise. (The putty, paint, and anchors I had to buy added at least $30 to the purchase price.)Also, I wouldn't call the shelves "wood." They're more like loosely glued sawdust that you could probably poke a pencil through, but they look fine and make sense at this price.I'm glad I got them to bring my plants in for the winter and the final look was good. But remember that you will have to spend extra money on better anchors.

I received these yesterday. I am quite happy with the looks and size . It was exactly perfect for the area’s I wanted to install these. Many shelves are made with heavy material’s and then you have to calculate the weight of the shelf into what yr putting on it. They are nice and light weight. I do wish they offered white brackets for them. I will likely just spray mine white. Very happy with these. 👌
