If you want good quality material, don't buy this one. If you want to tie it at the front, don't by this one (unless you're really slim, then it might work) But if you're like me and you just want something cheap that will protect your clothes from dropped paintbrushes and to catch any small parts that might otherwise get lost in the carpet when they fall between your knees (I build scale models from kits) then this works nicely. The material is thin, kind of papery and a little stiff (even a go in the washing machine hasn't removed the creases), and the tie cord is a little on the short side...but for what I need it for it doesn't matter. You get what you pay for.
