I LOVE that fact you can select both the color and brightness. For my Kitchen I found the full brightness of 2250 LMS and 3000K color was great.

I recently had an electronic ballast go bad in one T8 fixture that is part of four single bulb fixtures daisy chained on top of kitchen cabinets for use as indirect lighting. Since the ballast was about 20 years old, the rest couldn't be far behind failing as well, so I decided it was time to go to LEDs.The indirect lighting use in that area needs a toned down color and brightness. There is literally no way to compare color and brightness between a fluorescent and LED unless it is in the same environment as it will be used (aka your house). The variety of T8 style LED bulbs in warmer colors is not that plentiful, and then you have to hope the brightness is right as well as the color. I was not about to go down that rabbit hole of buying and returning bulbs until I found one that worked, if I could find one.After a bunch of searching I found these bulbs on-line and they looked perfect, kind of a 15 bulbs in one. I went ahead and removed all the ballasts (except one temporarily so I could tune to that color) and direct wired the fixtures. The rest was just plug in the lights and tune them to the light you want with a little trial and error. I was able to perfectly match the 3500K/32W bulbs that were in there with a 3000K/15W setting.The whole process was so easy I ordered more for other fixtures with much different lighting requirements. Another benefit is only needing one style bulb fits all for spares in case something untoward happens to any of the lights.

Of the 4 received, 2 did not work, 1 flickered every sec, and 1 worked for about 30 sec's before burning out.These did not work as an LED replacement in my old standard T8 4ft Fluorescent bulb outlet in the garage.Tried a different brand LED replacement and those work fine, this brand may or may not work for you.

3 of the 4 worked great. One of them has a faulty color temperature switch. The light works but I can't get the color to match the other 3 because of the faulty switch. I sent a message to the seller but got no response.Update: Seller is sending a replacement for the one that didn't work. Updated my rating to 4 star instead of 3.

Not long ago I replaced the ballasts (and tubes) for the fluorescent lights in my basement so I was frustrated that they started flickering and buzzing again.I decided to go with these type B led tubes to remove the ballasts as a potential failure mechanism in the future. The selectable brightness and color/warmth are nice adjustments. Very happy with the change to these LEDs; no delay, no flicker, no buzz makes the area significantly more comfortable.

All 4 tubes worked as expected using the single ended method as indicated on the package. I cut all the wires coming out of the ballast and just left the unit in place. I then terminate the black and white wires from the electric source to the two non-shunted connectors of the lamp holders using two separate pushed in wire connectors, and that's it. Worked the first time it was turned on. The LED lights are brighter than the fluorescent lights they replace. The adjustable power and the temperate setting comes in handy in fitting them into the environment. Can't comment on longevity yet.

I'm quite happy with these LED bults. I retrofitted a number of fixtures and was able to use the power and CT switches to match other lighting in the room, resulting in a flawless retrofit. I don't know about longevity so far, but retrofitting the bulbs to a direct-wire was very easy to do and they just worked.The light output works very well with or without a screen on the fixture.

these light not as bright as advertised. used others with same numbers and they are much brighter.
