I can feel the benefits of this after just one day of using it.The memory foam bounces back to its original position in seconds. It is very comfortable to sit on. It is good for anyone who like me has coccyx discomfort when sitting – especially for long periods (like at work where I sit at my desk most of the day). If you have ever damaged your lower spine it seems to get better until you sit for any length of time. This seems to stop the pressure on that part of your back and coccyx.Even if I had no pain I believe I would still benefit from using it, plus it’s so comfortable.The design is very well thought out. I bought this because on long car journeys I was getting backside / base of spine pain which usually came on after 2+ hours in the driving seat, was the exact same in my previous car so it's not due to the car seat being particularly uncomfortable.What I can say is that this works at fending off the pain, it's firm and supportive and you do feel a difference using it, my only negative is it seems to work differently on different seats, on some you sink in and you hardly realise it's there (I tried it on my computer desk chair and this is the case) while on others it does not and it's like a booster cushion and when I use it on my car it raises me up to the point where my head is just touching the car roof header and it takes about an hour to sink down. Other than this it's great.

I have had this item for three months now and I find it to be very uncomfortable. It makes the back of my legs ache making difficult to walk.

It is a good strong cushion. I find it a bit hard after sitting for a while. Good shape to fit bum but so far have not found the cure for back pain relief as other reviewers have commented. I live in hope!

Bought this for my wife who works from home and often spends many hours in from of the PC so comfort is paramount. Have tried several from other places but none quite suited. However, this one seems to be just the one we've been looking for. Excellently ergonomically shaped it is extremely comfortable. The cover looks to be a hard wearing fabric with textured underside to stop it slipping on the chair seat. She often suffers from aches due to badly shaped cushions but this one gives her no such problems. Would recommend it as good value for money.

I have been suffering from a sore hip and back for years because I sit at my PC for more than 12 hours a day most days. I did purchase another cushion that promised the earth. I sent it back the same day! It cost more than this one as well.I forgot to write this review after buying this cushion as I forgot I was using it! It sits on my chair and I sit on it. Sounds daft but thats what its for. I dot adjust it, I dont even notice it now. One thing I do know though is that I no longer have any back or hip pains at all! I did think this would just be another gimmick but due to the pain I was in I had to try it. This really works! I am 17stone, 6ft 1inch and I code at my PC pretty much all day.BTW my PC chair is a BMA Ergonomics AXIA 2.1 full customised and adjustable. My chair costs £1250 and was adjusted to suit my exact needs. The problem I was having after about 6 months using it was that the seat its self was too hard so sitting for long periods was killing me! This cushion has totally cured it.If your going to buy a memory foam seat buy this one!Photos to follow.

The cushion is obviously intended to fit, shall we say, *ample* backsides, it doesn't quite cradle my narrow-hipped male one so well. A shame they don't make them in two or three widths.ETA >> hasten to add that I wasn't damning it with faint praise - it is very well made and still provides a huge improvement over the padding on the office chair I'm using it with. I can definitely recommend it.

So happy to have this seat with memory foam. To guarantee that it is memory foam it would be sufficient to say that the seat came rolled up in a much smaller package but opened out to its normal form once taken out of the package. It is not slip and contoured to give very comfortable feel when installed in the car seat. I earlier bought a wedge shaped seat which turned out to be so uncomfortable. The seat was sliding all over and felt like sitting on a slab that had no cushion effect. This seat is so different. My only constructive criticism would be that the length of the squab could be longer to give more support nearer the knees
