I wore this dress for a bridgerton themed birthday party it was perfect. I got the XL, and same as other reviews the seam sat a little too high, I felt it should have been more under the breasts than on them. I did pin the ribbon over it to cover it and that worked.

Dress fit well, very lite weight material. We are using in a theatrical production so it will be fine, on the street you would need a slip for sure. Does look like picture.

It's simple but elegant. I'm also very happy that wrinkle release spray works on it and I don't have to spend forever with an iron to wear it every time - I find that the worst part about flowy garments. It's nice and light but not light enough to feel cheap or show anything underneath brightly colored. I love it, it will be worn casually.

bought this for a friend for her pride and prejudice themed bridal shower. It fit her perfectly and she said it was very comfortable, with her hair in a low bun she looked just like a victorian lady! Only docking one star because the dress didn't come with the yellow ribbon sash. This is ok for us, because we wanted to replace it with a blue one anyways.

Gloves missing

If they improve the pattern this would be a lovely dress, the fabric is soft and pretty. I'm going to see if a friend can help me make this fit better, because it would be a lot of fun if it fit properly. It is quite long, fully dusting the floor when I am in bare feet, and I'm 5'9". The cuff on the sleeves is quite tight, but the biggest issue is the bodice. I know this period style isn't really made for larger bust sizes but the waistline doesn't come anywhere close to reaching my ribs below my breasts, the seam is just under my nipple level (I'm a C-D cup). I'd say the XXL might work well for an A cup, maybe a B, but unless I do some alterations there is no way I would be able to tie a sash without it looking ridiculous. The one positive note I have about the sizing is the skirt is ample enough to preserve the long, straight silhouette even over my extra wide hips.
