This yarn is super easy for beginners. It's pretty and works up nicely. The only problem is that the skeins are so small.

Good thickness, very soft. Perfect for crocheting little animals.

I order from Amazon all the time and never write reviews, I honestly think this is my first time lol but I definitely wanted to let anyone know who is learning to crochet for the first time that this yarn is PERFECT for beginners!I bought a woobles kit a few months ago and returned it because trying to make a plushie for my first time crocheting ever was too much for me and figured it was better if I just learn the basic stitches myself off YouTube before I attempt a kit like the Woobles again. I bought a thing of acrylic yarn from Michael’s and it kept splitting horribly that I couldn’t even get past chaining with it. What I liked about the woobles was how easy their yarn is to use, but it’s expensive. This is basically the same yarn, I get no splitting whatsoever and super easy to move my hook through. I only took off a star because it is very small, smaller than what is lead on in the pictures, but other than that I love it! They have more shades of yarn than the woobles too. Will probably buy more colors!

I bought this for my 7 yo granddaughter who asked me to teach her to knit. With bamboo needles and this yarn (this green shade is her favorite color!), she just took off. This was not as frustrating for her as 4 or 5 weight yarn on aluminum needles. It doesn't split and frogs well. The skeins are very, very small. She wanted to make a scarf and I suggested she just use this yarn to practice for now. We plan to go yarn shopping in my stash once she is more confident. I can tell you this was a Christmas day hit with my granddaughter!

I am leaving how to crochet little animals and the regular yarn was really hard because it was come apart. This is perfect and makes such uniform little animals. It feels good in your hands and has a good weight. The colors are so vibrant.
