Great Dvd with some Good Matches

I have lots of wrestling DVD'S but this one beats them all, Shawn has always been the one i have watched since a young age and never fails to amaze not just the fans but everyone behind the curtain of the WWE.The first disk is a 2 hour full length documentary on Shawn's life everything from where he was born to his struggles with drugs and depression. Shawn isn't the only one been Interviewed, the likes of Triple H, Vince McMahon, Chris Jericho, Marty Jennety and more give their opinions on matches and Shawn himself. The documentary is captivating from start to finish; as we learn about how he met is Nitro girl wife and his love for his first born son Cameron. We also experiences his high's and low's with his entertaining but yet tough start as the rockers to his fight with Triple H in the locker room. One thing that most people are interested in is the night Shawn and Vince screwed Brett hart in 1997, well there is more to it than what we first thought as Triple H also had a say in the matter and as the full story is told Brett wasn't the one screwed but just someone who didn't want to help the business. There is so much pulled in to just this 2 hour documentary that it's worth getting just for this.Now on to disk 2 and 3 -On these Disks are some of the best matches in Shawn's career from his early start with the rockers to his amazing and classic royal rumble win after he enters at no.1 and wins.Other matches Include British bulldog, his championship match with Triple H and his Hell in a cell with the undertaker (Outstanding match), There are also stunning matches with Kurt Angle and Jeff Jerret.All in all a fantastic addition to Shawn's career.A Must!!!

The DVD was really good I would highly recommend heartbreak and tramp well worth a watch my son loves it

These mostly go a little more into Michaels' training background, spiritual background, and the rest. There are also 8 deleted stories that didn't make it into the documentary for not fitting for whatever reason. Some are from family members and some from fellow wrestlers and they are more telling of his personality growing up and more detail into the Rockers fight, etc. A must Buy for any Shawn Michaels fan!

This three DVD box set tells HBK's story so far. Disc one features Shawn being interviewed by Michael Cole and starts from the early days of Shawn's career. Featuring some of his earliest matches that have probably never been seen by some (me included) to when he teamed up with Marty Jannetty. The interview and matches theme continues across all three DVD's telling the story of how he became the man he is today. Love him or loath him, he is the icon, the show stopper, Mr Wrestlemania, the WWE hall of famer the heartbreak kid Shawn Michaels.

Great documentary and matches

I thought it was wonderful. So much more information that I thought I would get. The good, the bad, and the ugly all mixed into one. Don't ever sell Shawn Michaels short! (or Michael Shawn Hikkenbottom). He is without a doubt "the best wrestler" that ever lived. I'm so glad I got to see some of the behind the scenes events and feel privileged that I was able to view and understand some of the things I didn't quite understand at the time. This was definitely one of my best purchases. Let yourselves be captivated!!

I originally bought this as a Christmas present for a fellow female employee who is a big Shawn Michaels fan! I finally bought it for myself a few days ago and I have to say I wasn't dissapointed at all. While I am not a die-hard Christian or Bible thumper, I was raised in a Christian home so I guess some of that still remains with me. I mention this because I was touched by the outside of the ring story of Shawn's. I would recommend this for that type as well because there is a great lesson in falling and redemption here too.Back to the review, this is also a great trip down memory lane for long time fans like me to see Shawn from back in his AWA days. I began watching wrestling in 1985 and I viewed the AWA as weak in those days. The Midnight Rockers was one of the few reasons I watched the AWA back then because they were different from Nick Bockwinkle, "Playboy" Buddy Rose, "Pretty Boy" Doug Sommers, the late Ray "The Crippler" Stevens and others. Nothing against them as they were great performers but I think The Rockers brought a breath of fresh air to that territory.It also visits the break up of The Rockers, his time with the late Sherri Martel, behind the scenes fights with management including Vince McMahon, the infamous "Curtain Call" in Madison Square Garden, the infamous Montreal Screwjob (more on that one), his leaving the WWE due to his back injury, his marriage to former Nitro girl Whisper (Rebecca Hickenbottom), his drug problems, his brief falling out with HHH in 2001, his conversion to Christianity and his return to WWE.For those that either own or seen Bret Hart's WWE release, this gives Shawn's side of the Montreal story. On that, I believe Bret was screwed over. However, I hold Vince more responsible than I do Shawn. Shawn was/is an employee of WWE. He did what he was told to do by his boss. While it was low what he did, I think most people (myself included) would've done what Vince wanted. Ultimately, the buck stops with McMahon.For the record, I do think Bret brought it on himself a bit by not agreeing to job that night BUT what McMahon did was still wrong.Back to this, I think most fans or even a fan of documentaries will be pleased with this. I haven't gotten to all the extras yet but so far, I like it! High recommendation!

This 3 disc dvd set documents the life of WWE wrestler Shawn Michaels (real name Michaels Shawn) Disc 1 documents his life as well as his wrestling life. The other remaining discs contain wrestling matches that have highlighted his career.As a fan of Shawn Michaels, you will not be disappointed at all as it details all of the important matches and events that occurred throughout his life. You will understand what led him to become a wrestler, the choices he made while wrestling and the real life battles he faced as an wrestling entertainer. I'm going to sound a bit biased but I found this dvd to be more interesting than the Bret Hart dvd (which I own as well), nothing against Bret Hart but in my opinion this dvd was presented much better than Bret's.This is an absolute must for those who are wrestling fans or if your a fan of Shawn Michaels or if you watched him wrestle and wanted to know more about the man who is called "the showstopper"
