Excellent product

Only had it for a day so far but has helped SO much with little un (16 months old)... now when i want to move on from the pond or the swings, i blame it on the timer. It's not mummy, but the timer says we have to leave and 'go to the loo' etc... the timer says its time! Genius! It also means i don't need to get my phone out to see how much time has passed and i can set myself 5 to 15 minute breaks here and there where i think of nothing and i know the timer will tell me when it's time to resume headless chicken mode again. Except i'm not a headless chicken anymore as i just took a break. I friggin love it. Okay, it doesn't have the bright red ness of other countdown timers and the circle / face countdown represents whatever time you chose, be it 4 minutes or 90 minutes and it doesn't set to seconds but i don't need it for that. Well happy. Would have been nice if it was not just magnetic and had a standing up function but a minor gripe really. It sits at home on one of my daughter's old, scratched and disused a4 whiteboards and fits nicely into the front compartment of my mini phone/ wallet handbag / pouch when out. : ) Yes, the alarm is not loud enough to disturb everyone in the park but similarly at home, one can hear it from a neighbouring room. And if in that moment you cannot get to the timer, it turns itself off... and no, i haven't timed how long the alarm goes on for.. a minute perhaps? I realised today how different a minute left can feel, dependant on the activity at the time... really interesting

I have previously bought the larger more traditional 'Time Timer' products, but they are a bit large to carry around. This has the advantage of being magnetic (so can attached to a presentation board for example). Obviously as it is quite small, it is not so instantly visible as the larger versions, but if you need portability then this is a good buy. The reason I did not give 5 stars in because you cannot turn off the alert sound - which you can on other models (useful if you are using it during a presentation and want to be able to see the time you have left, but don't necessarily want a sound alert).

This is a great product and oes exactly what it says on the tin. Decided to go for this item rather than the original time timer. For the price it should definitely come with an included battery though.

Pretty much what I wanted - a visual timer I can stick across the room to make me leave my desk every hour and a half. This was the only one I could find that went for longer than an hour. The timing disk starts full no matter what time you set it for, which I was concerned about. Cons: A little flimsy. Not yet worked out how to turn it off when not in use. Beep is louder /more annoying than I expected for a product marketed for carers of autistic kids. Finally the anticlockwise turning is very counterintuitive to me - it would make sense if you were setting an analogue timer but for a digital device, I expect it turn clockwise, and this keeps catching me out. I got this as a warehouse deal. Am very happy with it for £11 as it was the only one I've seen anywhere, but would be disappointed for £20.

Easy to use, very good visual for our children to count down screen time allowed every day. Goes up to 90 minutes, which is handy for the weekends when more time is allowed.

This product started malfunctioning after a few months. Rotating the wheel does not decrement the timer anymore. There is some loose contact with the timer wheel.

Es fácil de usar, buen diseño. La carátula se raya fácilmente por ser tipo acetato. Tiene funcionalidad para pegarse magnéticamente. Bastante recomendable.

It doesn't work all the time, something is loose in there - but when it works - it's very good!
