In the search for the perfect Edison bulb I think we ordered about 5 different ones before finally finding these 8w 3000k soft white led Edisons from Seaside Village, and our search was over. We needed something that was bright enough to light up our dining area from above but not too cold or harsh and was dimmable. We tried some cheaper Amazon led Edisons and most of them had a noticeable buzzing sound or were too dim. These bulbs do not buzz or him at all even when dimmed and the color is perfect. Bright white light that is still soft and pleasant too the eyes. No hint of blue color at all. Super happy we finally found the perfect led Edison bulbs! Will definitely be buying from Seaside again in the future. Seriously, if you like a little brighter white light that's not too yellow but not at all cold or blue, these are the bulbs to get.Also wanted to mention that we had a problem with one of the 4 bulbs in our package and Seaside went above and beyond to quickly send me a replacement set at no extra cost that arrived just a couple days later. I have been searching for the perfect white bulb for a pendant fixture. The bulb needed to be clear glass with a bright white filament type glow. They are capable of dimming lower than a candlelight glow using a commonly available Lutron TGCL-153PH-WH dimmer and I did not detect any buzzing, humming or flickering.They are big bulbs, and difficult to look at directly because they are so bright. After 4 years, 5 of the original 8 bulbs I purchased are still working, including some in the kitchen than are used many hours daily. The lifespan is not as good as top-shelf brands like Cree or GE, but overall I'm pretty happy with these and they're very stylish.

My fixture came with incandescent Edison bulbs whose light was very warm ..1200-1500K I would guess, they made my Collingwood wall color look like crap. I was looking for bulbs in similar shape and size that are 3000K to match my Armacost undercabinet LEDs. These bulbs are great, good match to the Armacost, and they work well with my Maestro LED+ MACL-153M-WH dimmer. But the bulb dimensions are slightly larger than I imagined. Don't get me wrong, they still work with the fixture, and I wouldn't dream of replacing them over the minor issue with larger size. Bulbs have been in place about 1 week .. I'll post an update if a longevity issue arises.

I have a pendant light over our kitchen island. The fixture came with similar bulbs, but the brightness was disappointing from the day of installation. Finally, after less than a year, and not that many hours, (I would guess less than 1000 hours) one of the original bulbs failed, as evidence by an annoying flicker. I ordered these as they seem to be the brightest for the least amount of money. The arrived quickly and are a bit "whiter" (but not a "cool" white") as opposed to the original "yellow" illumination. They are also brighter than the original. I would estimate these bulbs provide the equivalent light as an incandescent bulb, somewhere between 75 and 100 watts. Now the test is how long they will last without failing.

Bulbs work great. Very bright, and more interesting looking than standard bulbs. I do not have a dimmer, so I cannot attest to the dimmability of these. There is a very slight delay when turning these on, but that doesn't bother me. Item arrived on time, and was well-packaged. These 4 LED bulbs cost about what 3 incandescent versions costed at the local home improvement store, and have a more favorable brightness and color temperature, using a fraction of the power.

The selection of bulbs with brightness greater than 60W equivalents was pretty slim. I purchased these based upon the positive reviews and the fact that they appear to be a brand name bulb with English instructions bearing good grammar and a good warranty. So far, I am quite happy with my purchase. They look great in my Kichler outdoor sconces -- much better than the white CFLs that were in there previously. They are almost invisible during the day and produce bright, clear light at night, which is exactly what I expected.

I placed these in a vintage stain glass hanging light. They work very well in all the dimming stages and the light itself is just beautiful coming thru the glass. I'm ordering more for other areas, but nondimmable this time. Also they came very well wrapped in plastic holder, top and bottom, inside the regular holder, and then wrapped in bubble wrap, inside the shipping carton. Good Job!!! Thank you Amazon!
