Q: How do you keep the color from bleeding on to everything?

I put the quilt and shams in the dryer to fluff them and to remove any packing odors. The backing bled and stained the inside of my dryer. It took 3 cycles of running damp towels soaked in Clorox (1 cup) and water (1 gallon). Had to repeat this process 3 times. The damage to the quilt and shams was that all white and light colored panels on the entire quilt and shams turned pink. I love Color Catchers, but since I did not prewash using them, it may be too late for that. Professionals have recommended soaking the quilt and shams in hot water with Dawn Essential Dish soap and Synthrapol for 10-12 hours. Repeat as needed. The pattern I have is the one with the red truck and farmhouse. It's beautiful! I would not discourage you from buying this product, but do yourself a favor and prewash with lots of Color Catchers as soon as you purchase the product. My ability to return my purchased expired 10-1-21. Hope this warning is helpful.

This was the best Christmas comforter I had ever brought. My husband loves it, it looks great on the beds. Christmas comforter is beautiful and would buy it again. Made so well for the price.
