Ok, Amazon corrected the shipping problem before my review was posted. 2 rolls ordered and 2 rolls received, the tape appeares standard,It is a product for a one time use, and is used out side in the climate.Charged a 2nd time for a single roll.Bye bye Amazon......

Got this for the texas freeze to protect our exposed pipes. worked as expected and relatively easy to install but be careful and work in smaller sections because it will get sticky and the black stuff residue all over your hands. Not that big of a deal and overall we know it's going to stay put

I bought this just weeks before we had freezing temperatures completely out of the norm for our neck of the woods, and I wrapped an outdoor pipe that once had insulation on it, and had since deteriorated to unattached pieces of insulation. I’m new to this sort of work, unsure how pipes are supposed to be protected etc. I read the description on Amazon, ordered this product, and got my outside exposed pipe all wrapped up and safe before the freezing temps and snow and ice hit. Have to admit I was proud of my work but really, it’s this product. Grateful.

I woke up one cold January morning to discover that no water was flowing through the pipes in my house. This had happened once before so I resolved to solve the problem by wrapping insulation tape around the aluminum cowling around the water inlet pipe to keep the cold out. Bought Pipe Insulation Tape on Amazon, and wrapped the tape around the metal cowling. End of problem. Next day when the temps dipped below freezing, my water continue flowing into the house without freezing up.

This is amazing. Be aware, the sticky side works very well, and very hard to remove it from your fingers. Be very careful when wrapping this around your exposed pipes. It covers well and it's a lot thicker than the picture shows.

This wraps really well, but if you make a mistake and want to undo a spot it will rip itself completely apart in only a minute of sticking together. The stick is too good.

Excellent winter product and tough but manageable and affordable price. Just love it!!!
