Looked a long time for the perfect AFAK. This is part of my EDC as an IFAK. Perfect
Great fit & features. Pockets and securing straps are all just right. Fits a full IFAK and disappears on my ankle. Very happy with purchase.

Most important part of an EDC
Med kits are the hardest thing to carry in an EDC. This ankle kit makes it a lot easier. I carry a backup on my left ankle, so carrying a med kit on my right ankle kind of balances it out and is a natural way for me to carry med gear. The supplies that come in the stocked kit are of good quality, and have good life left before the expiration dates. I did replace the TK-4 with a RATS, just for personal preference (no need to get into the whole RATS argument). There is room in the kit for a CAT, but the kit is a bit bulky as it is under straight cut pants. At the end of the day, you are a lot more likely to have to plug a hole in someone than make a hole, so get training, and carry med gear. This is a great way to carry it.

Essential kit
The AFAK itself is built well, is comfortable to wear, and fits well either low on my leg with shoes, or with the extension piece on my low calf above my boots. The pockets can fit trauma care gear or other EDC items (multi-tool, spare magazine, knife, etc.). The included gear is pretty much the essential items you need to treat battlefield-type wounds. I replaced the included tourniquet with a RATS tourniquet, but otherwise am extremely happy with the kit.
