Low cost tungsten carbide cutters
Biggest concern in getting these was if they would fit on the tool shanks I own. Would the screw be the right thread and length? As it turns out, yes they were very compatible with my existing tools, but not all. I have three that can take a diamond cutter, one had a different shape. as can be seen in the second photo (the lower one). I include it to make the point that the TBPA are much longer and the angle is more acute. This makes for a tighter cut capability, which is not possible with the lower tool depicted in the photo.I know packaging has no real value in a review but I infer from it the care given to the tool. These came in separate zip-loc bags with the associated screws in a separate bag. The individual cutters were protected from other and the screwsThese are scraping cutters that I normally prefer to rough out with and use regular lathe gouges to fine tune. However, the acuteness of the point of these cutters can definitely provide a detailing capability. I like that the diamond cutter can be rotated to get a second new edge to work with. Not much else to comment on; you get three of them and they cut, they're extremely inexpensive and last a long time. The first photo is a picture of one installed on one of my tools. Even if they chip easily, you get 3 of them for less than the price of one.

Excellent first impression!
These carbide cutters arrived in individual bags, giving them some protection during shipping. As carbide is very hard, it is also brittle and can chip. I have received many carbides that were all chucked in a baggie and chipped up, and it is so preventable! Good on TBPA for going the extra mile and protecting the product!I have not yet turned with these, but they appear as high in quality as any I have turned with. I will update if I have any problems.

A little rough, but they cut
Compared to US-made wood turning carbide inserts from EWT (Easy Wood Tools) these have a lot of surface discoloration, and they show more surface grinding marks. Does that make them less effective, or less long lasting? I don’t know. But they are pretty cheap, and limited testing shows they cut well, and I haven’t had one break in use yet. Overall, then, I’d give them a solid C+/B- rating.

Inexpensive turning tool cutters
This is a good, inexpensive set of sharp turning tool cutters for replaceable cutter style turning tools such as easy wood tool style. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes to match what you need, so measure your tool before ordering to ensure you are getting blades that will work with your tools.

Very sharp and cut great
Absolutely no complaints about these cutters. They were very sharp, fit on my tools perfectly, and cut very smoothly and cleanly. Definitely good value.

Perfect fit for my lathe tools
I was recently given a this carbide lathe tool set (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BJDZB7M3), but my main concern was whether I could find replacement inserts. So even though I don't need to replace any inserts yet, I grabbed this set of inserts on the gamble that they fit my tools. They do! So I'm set for years to come.
