First one came damaged. They sent a new one right away. Good product nice and sturdy

One of the boards arrived warped and cracked so it wasn't flat. This defeats the whole purpose of a book binding press. I recommend the manufacturer do a better job with quality control. Otherwise would've been a good product for me. After checking many similar reviews, I'm going to try a similar product from a different manufacturer.

My husband had hinted he wanted this. We were unsure of how well it'd work. However it works as well as the expensive ones he's seen. He's used it so many times for projects that he was working on for craft work. Happy customer and husband was happy and still is very happy with it.

The item is great except one part. You will need to put it on something rubbery so the bottom part of the screws don’t move when you tighten it. Putting it together is super easy and it works great once you have it on something that makes sure the bottom part of the screws do not move.

Got this and it broke within the first week of use. It is a very simple solution you could put together at home depot, but comes exactly as described. My only callout here is that the wood used is a directionally glued composite, as such, when pressure is applied along the short access, it is liable to crack, like mine did. I just ended up drilling out holes on another non-composite piece of wood and it was able to take a lot more pressure effectively. In this capacity, you are basically just buying screws for too much.

I should have heeded the other reviews. This cracked within a few weeks, rendering it unusable. The whole point is that the board needs to be straight to press properly. The cracked and warped wood leaves me with a useless item. I can't even donate it. Money completely wasted.

I’ve been doing paper crafts for a while and finally bought a real press instead of just using heavy books. This works wonderfully for such a cheap price. Though there’s no instructions, it’s really simple to put together by looking at the listing pictures. It’s *just* big enough to fit a standard size book, as you can see in the pic.

I am extremely happy with this press. I use it for book binding. It is strong and durable. It's perfect for my requirements.
