I have been pleased with this dash cam so far. The item came packaged well and feels built to last. This is further emphasised by the 12 month warranty provided with the product.Having been involved in a few incidents and now owning a lease car, I thought it was best to purchase a dash cam. This dash cam comes with a 3M adhesive fitted to it along with a detailed manual, car charging cable and a useful 16GB micro SD card and USB reader. Most of the other dash cams I looked at don't provide a micro SD card, let along a reader so I was pleased this came along for the price you pay. It also meant I was all set up and good to go without making any additional purchases.What this product does lack is adhesive cable clips. They would have helped to keep the setup in your vehicle neat and unobstructive to your day to day driving.The video quality of the dash cam is 1080P so is very clear. The dash cam's battery is very small so it won't last long without the charging cable attached. Saving footage requires the micro SD card provided. The product has a very useful loop recording function which means you will never have a situation where your memory card is full, rather it will record over the older footage on the SD card. There is even a motion detection function so your dash cam only records once it senses movement near the vehicle. You also have a useful G-Sensor function which will lock the current recorded file if it detects a crash. This way the loop recording will not override your important video file.Please note if you want the dash cam to record whilst the vehicle is switched off then it will have to be hardwired into the vehicle for this to work as the 12V socket will stop providing power when the vehicle fully shuts down.This dash cam is a reasonable size so isn't one that is supposed to be hidden on your vehicle, rather it is to deter people away as they can see you have a dash cam fitted. It has a screen fitted so you can see what the camera is recording, however this can be switched off to avoid the distraction. The screen is very useful as it allows you to view footage on it, rather than having to take the SD card out and viewing it on a laptop.For the price you even get an additional rear view camera that can be wired so it comes on when you change the gear to reverse.Time will tell how good this dash cam is, but for the time being I am pleased with this purchase.
