This a a definate for creative thinkers
If you want to find the perfect word or phrase then this book is a must for your collection. There are over 100 lists of powerful and persuasive words and phrases. The only negative thing I would say is that with Roget's thesaurus online, that is optimum for writers to quickly find alternatives but this is nice to have for a sort of study reference and it's always nice to flick through a physical book and see all the helpful and different words we can use when developing an idea or pitching or selling something to someone else. And there are fun words to rediscover as well, billowing, Zesty, melodious, turbocharged, brawny, it's fun to widen our knowledge of words for sure.

Really great help for copywriting and blogging
You know sometimes, you sit down to do that piece of writing for your business and the words just dont flow, or you find yourself using similar words over and over? Well this boom is great as yoou can sim,y come up with a word and flick to it in the book and find lots of lovely alternatives. Not nly that the book suggests phrases as well as single words. I wouldn't be without it for writing great e marketing copy and more

Useful Book for Ideas
Exactly what I wanted some lists and words for inspiration. Its not pages of how to copywrite it just sits on your desk ready to help. Great value paperback.

Brilliant for Quick Reference
I recently retrained as a copywriter and out of all the books I have bought for reference and study purposes, this has to be one of the best. I offer copywriting as one of the services in a small web design business I part own and I can tell this book is going to be really well thumbed. A great addition to my office bookshelf, just wish I'd bought it sooner.

Great for helping you get in the right word zone
Fabulous book, fast became one of my work go-to books. Even if I don't use one of the words it suggests, this book really helps me get into the right headspace to find the one I do need. A bit American (because that's where it's from) but it's value is far out-stripped by this factor. Highly recommend it.

Centuries have gone into its preparation...probably
Not just words but whole phrases! I'm sure that there are few phrases here that would surprise, but it's having them all readily available at a flick through. I don't know whether these are available electronically, but good old paper is best I have found for flicking through for the ideal phrase.

I use this a lot for writing copy and product descriptions. It's helpful when you feel like you've been overusing words, like a thesaurus for specific use. The book I got was bound and cut a bit wonky but still usable.

I got this because I read in so many reviews that this book is a "must-have" for copywriters... I personally don't think it's a "must-have" but I'm sure it will come in handy somewhere along the line. I rate this a 2.7
