I wanted to buy this for my husband for a long time but couldn't justify the price. When it went on sale I finally ordered it. It looks even better in person and my husband loves it!

This blanket is a great addition to our emergency car kit. It packs up small and compact and is very warm despite its lightweight construction. The design is nice and fits with our Oregonian vibe. Is well made for light use but it will take several years to evaluate its long-term durability. Very happy with it out of the box.

I got this because it looked like it would pack down really small and it does. It's incredibly lightweight, and it's really good to keep with my hammock setup. I haven't really figured out a way to adapt it to be like an underquilt, but it's a really handy bit of kit to carry around the campsite. It packs down really small, and it's extremely lightweight but it puffs out pretty nicely so that your body can build up some heat. It's especially good around the campfire, but I would be nervous about stray sparks.

I was skeptical of a polyfilled blanket keeping me warm, but the fabric seems to trap body heat so well that I was getting fairly hot underneath it at some point. I'm totally sold on the smoothness of the outer fabric. It's so smooth it doesn't catch on anything and doesn't have a scratchy feel or a gross, slick dolphin-like quality to it. The quilting keeps the blanket's insides from shifting around and bunching up, which I appreciate. And the colors are gorgeous like a forest-bathed day, somewhere around twilight. I didn't love the idea of the deer (more of an elk I think) at first, but in real life it's more muted and hidden within the deep green colors of the blanket. It has a few choices of loops to fasten to toggle buttons so you can wear it around you hands-free. It doesn't overlap when it closes, but hangs off the shoulders like a cape. I haven't washed it yet but it seems like a no-frills ordeal laundering-wise. I'm very impressed with this blanket and have used it in the cold winter weather outside and during movie night on the couch. It's plenty wide enough to share with a couple kids if you turn it sideways.
