I bought this book for class and it was actually helpful. I love it when my textbooks function as more than just expensive paperweights. The instruction is surprisingly clear for such a complex program. The chapters are laid out well and program features are explained. The video tutorials were okay, but unnecessary. You really only need the book. I would recommend this for any beginner. If you can follow instruction independently, you will learn from this book.

Older version, but it works for me.
My Autocad teacher said he didn't care if I had an older version of the book, so for this price I grabbed it. Perfect, thank you.

I bought this as a reference to support my course and it serves the purpose well. Not as good if you are learning on your own.
