Best book ever and I am a Class A general / Builder with Civil Engineering and Architecture background.Book arrived used and in great condition. For a quarter of the cost of a new one it should be required reading for all construction management degrees.

When starting out with very basic knowledge of carpentry and building, this is the perfect book for learning. This book explains many aspects of carpentry, tools, and equipment. This book also explains the importance of zoning and would be beneficial for all interested in the construction or carpentry industry. You could benefit from this book if you are interested in making improvements to your land or home.

I purchased Carpentry & Building Construction Student Text for study purposes, in preparation for my Contractor's License exam. I found the book very informative. Because it is not too complicated, I am able to use it on the job site as well.

Book had a good size gouge in the back.

This Text book on construction was very good. I actually bought it to supplement the text book used in a course I am taking and I found it to explain difficult concepts better (like steel construction). I recomend this to any one needing a good text book on construction.
