Folding Aluminium Self Propelled Wheelchair with Attendant Handbrakes by Z-Tec

Excellent service.I emailed the day I purchased as I noticed the estimate delivery date was approx 7 days and as travelling abroad needed before. Therefore, I requested a speedier delivery date and I straight away received a response informing me they would dispatch straight away and as promised the following day I received a TNT tracking number informing me the wheelchair was out on dispatch and received the following morning. Two days from the date I purchased and purchased later on in the afternoon. So, all in all excellent customer service.As for the wheelchair, very easy to put the pads on the chair and click the footsteps on the wheels and that's it all complete. I was very surprised in how easy it was to set a wheelchair up.The quality is to a high spec and as I'm not old-ish in my early 30's this was definitely a good choice, as quite trendy-ish with comparisons to some.There is a compartment at the back which you can probably put a few books or something of that size in.The the arm rests are adjustable and very easy to amend, as are the footrests and have the benefit of taking away the leg straps if one desires too.The wheels are quite robust and look similar to wheels from a deluxe bike - sporty spokes. Whilst, having the benefit of sharp breaks for both the person in the wheelchair and or the person pushing the wheelchair.I haven't felt the weight as I can't lift but my 8 year old Son has lifted the wheelchair slightly when helping me get it out of the box and he said it wasn't heavy but I suppose that's the benefit of aluminium, along with no rush either!!However, be carefully as I have already marked the side of one of my wheels as I think it's powder coated black and now I have silver marks to show where I hit the door when practicing to go through. As I use a walking cane or crutch permanently and I image this will probably take practice and probably plenty more bangs to judge but hey ho! - Also, the manoeuvere of this chair is excellent and so easy to get around in the house on thick carpet, which I was really surprised in. I just need to practice my judgement on where the door frames are now but I put that down to narrow openings and not me!!I am looking forward to using this in America, as I can't walk far. So, this is a perfect aide for me to still have the benefit of visiting what a abled person can, plus having the benefit of cushioned seats for both my back and bottom.I hope my review will help in deciding what wheelchair to purchase, as I really wish someone would have wrote more to help me decide (only took me 2 months) as I wanted to make the right choice and still have the benefit of not over spending but having the opportunity to have a sporty wheelchair for my age I suppose.P.S.Even though the picture looks like the wheelchair is black and grey, the grey is only on the padded areas, so if you wanted a change you could take off the padded seat and leg rest and purchase a black seat and leg rest or whichever colour you wanted to give a different look. I've thought of this as I think all black too, would look more sportier I suppose but the grey is still a good look too and all for around £20 giving it a different look.I think its a good idea personally, might just be me being a woman and having low price options to choice from with a different look.Hope I've helped anyway and thanks for dispatching this so quick for my holiday, just got to pack now!! :)

It does what it says

We haven't had it long but so far it has ticked all the boxes to suit us. Its nice and light I can just get it into the car laying down the cushions seem ok they have valcros to hold them in place the foot rests come off when you want to collapse the wheelchair into its smallest size. You need a bag of some sort to hold the foot rests and cushions when you put it into a car. We think its a nice unit.

I requested the Wheelchair on Sunday night 15th February 2015 and it was delivered Tuesday morning 17th February 2015 at 10-30am, try to knock that if you can?.The staff at Glebe Healthcare & Mobility were brilliant with my queries by phone regarding this product.I realise that I am reviewing this on the night of the delivery, but it is just perfect.Thank you at Glebe Healthcare & Mobility for your help and a perfect product.

Very comfortable and I suffer with severe back pain, putting the legs on can be difficult but all round great wheelchair

A life-changer for my wife, she has CFSME, so this helps during bad days when she doesn't have the energy to walk.

I bought this for my 88 year old Mother. It well made, has a high spec with carer brakes etc and my Mother finds it very comfortable.Highly recommended . . .
