Is this good for a petite elderly bony person who sits most of the day?

Let me try answering it this way. I am a 'cellist and I have to sit in low chairs sometimes for a couple of hours or more. These wedge pads rotate our hips and make sitting much more comfortable. Almost all of our 'cello section uses pads like this one. I particularly like the memory foam in this one. It makes prone sitting for long periods much easier. I hope this helps.
