Any truffle spray or non-spray are addicting! It doesn't take much spray or drizzle to take food to another level of g.o.o.d.n.e.s.s.. Also these are great to give as gifts.

I bought this set to make salad dressing but the balsamic is sweet and more of a glaze so does not work well for a vinaigrette. Had to buy a different truffle balsamic for this.

I’m a big fan of infused EVOO. As I normally do when I get a bottle of infused oil, I immediately smell it and taste it by dipping some bread in it. I want to understand the flavor, the flavor intensity, and any other unique characteristics it might have. Doing so gives me a better idea of how best to use the oil. The white truffle oil is exquisite - the aroma is intense and smells exactly like you think (and hope) it would. The flavor is equally intense - the essence of truffle is impressive. As it turned out, I was making a dish where I was going to serve sauteed mushrooms over the dish and I decided to use this oil (and a little butter) to saute - wow, what an incredible and incredibly intense flavor - yum! The black truffle balsamic is equally delicious and has the same intensity of flavor (I could almost drink this stuff!). Excellent over greens… the flavor is so good that you do not want to diminish it by mixing it with anything else… it needs to shine on its own. Overall an exccellent set of oil and vineger! Also a very giftable set as a hostess gift, housewarming gift, or just for a cook that you really like!

So a couple of things... the packaging would have been really nice, but my box came without any paper frame inside that would hold the two bottles in place. So they were rolling around a little bit, and I was slightly worried with them being glass bottles, but once I opened it up all was forgotten.I love truffle everything, and my wife doesn't like truffles at all, and the biggest sign that both the oil and vinegar had truffles in it were that she kept complaining about the salad dressing I made. The oil isn't the best olive oil I've ever had, but it definitely adds a nice touch. I start almost all my meals with garlic, onions and olive oil, and the truffle taste and aroma filled the house to my delight and my wife's... not delight. The oil is high quality enough that a light drizzle over some eggs, and tossing lightly with some pasta, have been the best 2 uses of the oil thus far.It's a little less obvious in the vinegar, but the taste seemed to be a bit more subtle. More aromatic than flavorful there, but great addition to salad!Looking forward to checking out the rest of the GL line... this gift set was a fantastic gift for myself!
