Phonic Workbook: Level 1 (Usborne Very First Reading)

Absolutely fantastic. I've looked at a LOT of different phonics books before finally settling on this and I'm so glad I did. It's designed to be fun so letter practise is done through pictures and writing the letters rather than just pure repetition. There are also stickers which is always a winner!My 3year old did the first section and then said 'can we do this page?' Wanting to carry on!

My son loves this. The activities are challenging but fun. He did some of them on his own (match the sticker of the letter) but has found some really tricky, like writing the letters in a smaller size. So there's lots to be going on with and it will keep him interested for a while longer. I will definitely be buying the others in the series.

Excellent book - interested students enormously!

My three year old loves this book. He talks constantly about letters and sounds, asking, "how do you spell..." Some of the handwriting tasks are too hard for him at the moment but he will be ready for them soon. He loves the activities.
