I love these headphones. I am newer to the co-op gaming world but I am very impressed by these headphones. The RGB color change on the side is really sharp. They completely cover my ears so they are comfortable. I look a little ridiculous in them actually. Sound quality is fantastic and the dynamic sound helps you really hear where the sound is coming from in-game, giving it a more realistic experience for spotting enemies. I haven't been able to get the vibration during explosions to work quite yet but I am fairly positive this is user error. The unidirectional mic prevents my friends from hearing my background noise. And they are quite noise cancelling. Had a lot of trouble hearing my husband calling me from the other room. Definitely recommend these headphones. My only complaint is that they are a little heavy and can start to hurt my neck after a while, but honestly, I'm kind of a wimpy girl and it is probably good because it reminds me to take breaks after a couple hours and go be an adult for a while.

Update: changed from 5 stars to 2. Boom mic swivel broke 3 months in with work-based use, meaning, it spent most of its time hanging on a hook. Taped the swivel to provide some friction and then the 2nd break occurred perhaps 3 months after that. Lived with it like this for about the next year. Electronics works and it sounds good but with this being the 2nd that's broken at weak points in the plastic, it's representative of the poor construction/materials.2nd of this "model" I've purchased. (Had the original white one for a few years before this model) This is, hands-down, the single most comfortable headset I've ever worn. This statement includes consideration of nearly 15 years in the call-center industry as well as casual MMO raiding. I can wear this 4+ hours at a stretch and not be bothered by the feel. Sound is crisp & clear. Mic will pick up background noise such as a running fan if the fan is pointed at you.

I've purchased 5 GAMDIAS gaming headsets in the past 5 years --- 4 of the older model white Hephaestus GHS2000 and 1 of the newer RGB Hephaestus P1. I only bought the Hephaestus P1 because they don't make the Hephaestus GHS2000 anymore.The Hephaestus P1 is a piece of junk. It fell apart within the first 4 months.The first part to break was the mic boom. I tried to swivel it to the up position away from my mouth and the mic boom cracked about an inch from the hinge. After it broke, I had to use strips of duct tape to hold the mic in place but then I lost the ability to swivel the mic away from my mouth.The second part to break was the right ear cuff. One day when I pulled the headset off my head, the ear cuff came off. I tried to reattach it but it's extremely difficult to reconnect. I was able to do it a couple of times but it was never reconnected as firmly as it was when brand new. When jostled or inadvertently bumped, the ear cuff would fall off again sometimes in the middle of a gaming session. Without the cuff you have a hard plastic speaker component pressing on your ear. When that happens it's very uncomfortable. I resorted to using duct tape to reattach the cuff.Eventually the duct tape fixes didn't hold things together. The Hephaestus P1 became more trouble than it was worth and I decided to throw it out.I will never purchase the Hephaestus P1 again. I do not recommend the product.By the way, I still have 1 perfectly fine Hephaestus GHS2000. I bought it in June 2017 and absolutely love it.

I purchased these after reading some of the positive reviews and was looking forward to experiencing the directional vibration effect that the description boasts about. Upon unboxing them ... They are huge! they didn't work well at all. Sounded very tinny. I have an excellent creative sound card that even makes my cheapo headsets sound great but these were awful. Thank goodness for the Amazon Prime return policy. The software is absolutely horrendous.

Within the first week of use, the ear padding started falling off the sides. I just stretched it out and tucked it back in and it held for a few more days, but I still find the padding falling off every 3 or so days of use. The microphone arm also fell out and is just dangling. When I put the circular bit back in the hole (held on by just its wires) I can no longer position the arm to be near my mouth for speaking, it just drops below my chin. My friends have also complained about a whistling noise when chatting with them online using this product. I bought this product with a computer through iBuyPower, and I would have returned it but it's not worth the shipping costs, and I can't go there in person due to COVID closures (their physical location is in an area that I go to somewhat regularly).
