My old shower drain looked a bit tatty and the seal was disintegrating.I replaced it with this which fits just fine and looks nice, but unlike my old one which just pulls apart for cleaning, this on is in only TWO parts, not three.The top metal part and the hair catcher are actually screwed together by a central screw, so that they would have to be unscrewed every time to be able to clean it properly.It's practically impossible to clean it thoroughly unless you do this as the soap scum and trapped hairs are very very difficult to get to even with a paintbrush or similar.Wish it came apart for cleaning as I do not have the tome or the inclination to carry a screwdriver with me every time I clean the shower!Silly design.
